MMMUT Faculty

Approximately 50% of the faculty at MMMUT are regular, with the rest being guest or ad-hoc faculty. The faculty have notable academic qualifications, with most being PhD holders, and many are alumni of prestigious institutions like IITs and NITs. Despite this, there is a mixed perception of their teaching effectiveness, with some faculty members being highly praised for their knowledge and supportiveness, while others are found lacking in teaching skills and interaction with students.

The faculty-to-student ratio varies, but is generally around 1:30 or 1:40, allowing for reasonable interaction. Faculty age ranges between 25 to 45 years. The institution offers 7 lectures per day, with 6-hour class durations, and uses smart classes with projectors. Practical and tutorial classes are often conducted by PhD scholars. The exam structure includes two minor exams and one major exam per semester, with passing rates over 60%. Faculty are involved in research and encourage participation in national and international conferences, contributing to a learning environment focused on both theoretical and practical knowledge.
