Course Curriculum Overview

2

The relevancy of BTech is very good in itself as it guarantee a job in this unemployment period only if you're good at your field. The professors should try to deliver the students as if students don't know anything about the subject because some teachers only come and deliver as if the students have already studied it from somewhere else. They should atleast give or make notes for the students.I would suggest that try to deliver like no students should have to watch online lectures after attending the University classes, atleast 75% attendance is also mandatory....So what is the meaning of that 75 attendance if the sudents have to study it from online.

Placement Experience

3

See I am here to tell you the truth, the majorly placements are from CSE and IT students after which it comes to ECE students. The condition of mechanical, civil and chemical students are not good so they either opt for off campus placement.Majorly students start the GATE preparation from the second year as in my eyes would be a good idea. The average package of the college is 7 lacs with highest package of 52 lacs(of course ,off campus placement).I would suggest you to start preparing for GATE CAT or other competitive exams or either seek for off campus placement if you're not from CSE,ECE or IT branch.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The course fee for BTech in any branch is 1.35 lacs which include 75k tuition fees. For the students who get TFW seats, there is fees deduction of tution fees which is 75k and you only got to pay 60k but for first year students you have to pay 1.35 lacs and later apply for refund of 75k in dean ug office. If you want to opt for hostel as well you have to pay 1.64 lacs along with the course fee and later they will charge for mess fee which is 18k for each semester(36k per year). For scholarships,OBC and EWS get a scholarship of 60-65k and SC/ST get a scholarship of around 90-98k per year but the only condition is that you have to apply for the scholarship very carefully. There is a min income condition for EWS and OBC category....so keep it in mind.

Campus Life

2.5

The infrastructure in not so well good but getting better day by day with newly built classrooms with ACs for first year students (don't know about second year students). There is still need a big maintenance and seeking for the hostels.

Hostel Facilities

2

Well,I have taken hostel and if you ask me it's not so good and that's what you can expect from a government college. The mess of the first year is good and you will see a variety of dishes however many students still complain about the food being served....maybe because of the food they would have taken all their life(I would not blame them) because I myself feel that they could have done better if they wanted to.You will be seeing a lot of snakes and insects as it is lush green campus....so ready be prepare for it.There will be people in your room most of the time which can hindere your studies(I myself will be getting a pg in second year onwards).

Admission

Just see if I am here it simply means my JEE mains went not so good nor so bad however If I would get a chance I would have chosen NITs ofcourse....like who would not be choosing NITs over this college. I was also getting Civil engineering in HBTU Kanpur but I had no interest in civil engineering so that why I preferred ECE branch in this University over HBTU.The teachers were not so helpful during the admission process .....the admission process was quite simple if I see today however they were not cooperative if I see today.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty of this University are decent. Some teachers are passionate about taching and delivering to the students while other just come and do their formalities. There are only two exams in one semester which is only one minor and one major. The semester compose of eight semestervfor the whole course of BTech. Some professors teach all about the lab stuff very practically while on the other side you will see some that the teachers are only doing experiments on their own and only showing to the children and I don't think we can learn anything by not actually doing it.

Campus placement is not that good. Hardly 2-3 companies come here for foodtech. But there are job opportunities for this course. It is a growing field. Outside the campus, if applied in any company, there are chances of selection based on the skills and knowledge one has related to the field

The records placement cell is impressive because they organize useful and up-to-date seminars from time to time. Therefore the placement record is one of the best in Greater Noida. Last year was 98% placement. Placements start from the 7th semester.
