Garden City University Bangalore B.Sc {Hons.} Psychology: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The college employs four teachers, each specializing in a different area of psychology, with plans to hire an additional faculty member soon. There are around 50 students, resulting in a favorable faculty-to-student ratio. They have adopted a modular teaching strategy where a single faculty member teaches a subject for the entire day, which some students find unappealing. Exams are conducted online, a shift from traditional written tests that hasn't been well-received.

The psychology department lacks a dedicated Head of Department and experiences frequent faculty turnover. Faculty quality is considered average in the psychology department, although other departments have more qualified teachers. Internships are available in select departments, managed by a placement cell in collaboration with partner companies. At Garden City University, there is a mandatory registration fee of 2000/- for all courses. Specifically, for the B.Sc. Psychology course, the first installment is 58000/-, followed by a second installment of 43000/-, with subsequent semester fees at 43000/-.

SC/ST students do not receive fee concessions but can apply for scholarships via the National Scholarship Portal. A refundable fee of 5000/- is charged for library and college facilities, and the first semester fee is 32300/-, increasing to 42300/- for later semesters. Hostel fees are 36000/- for double sharing and 60000/- for single sharing, with fees having tripled in the last two years. The total course fee for earlier batches was 242300/-, spread over six semesters at 42300/- each, equating to 84600/- per year.

For upcoming batches, the annual fee has risen to one lakh.
