There was a great experience through our campus,there are such beautiful trees and statuses are placed when entering the college.
There are some scholarship opportunities are also available like the cv raman students welfare trust scholarship for bright students who are financially weak.
I don't much knowledge about computer science branch but in ece, eee, ee, teachers are best and they interact with students in best manner a student can understand

Dislikes

Classes are non ac classes walls are not painted backgate is so dirty no near and clean campus no greenary no uniform
The hostel is very bad. food in the mess is not edible.
The extra classes are so irritated. i have only one reason

Reality of college

Likes

The best thing is that the faculties were good
They share resources and also use latest technologies
They interact with every student and try to help them out

Dislikes

If you complain then it will take quite a long time to resolve
The seats in the classroom were broken and needs replacement
They should teach latest trending technologies

Placement Experience:

So talking about placements then the placement trainings get started from your 5th sem onwards and you will be trained upon diff params and from 7th sem onwards campus drives gets started and around 30 companies visits each year and all the mncs comes for campus drives starting from pwc , Deloitte , accenture to tcs , infosys and ibm . So you will get ample opportunities if you have 60% score in your career

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Likes

faculty and teaching quality i like very much.
infrastructur and facilities has modern campus
placement and career support is good about 80 percentage student placed at every year

Dislikes

uneven placement for non-core branches students
always hostel food issue the quality of food is not good
strict rules at time after 6 pm no one allowed to campus baoundry

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

C.V. Raman Global University is Classic!!

110 acres campus full of gardens, lawns and greenery that one can breathe absolute fresh air inside the campus.
Placements are superb at our college as nearly all the students of CSE are placed from campus.
We have best in class sports facilities available at our university.

Dislikes

Crowd quality as university is termed global but students here are pathetic.

Zoho, Cognizant, Infosys, and many others come every year. When we are in our penultimate semester we can apply for the same and after rounds of interviews the placements are provided. Before that too special training camp is organized and students are asked to attend that as well.

A Balanced Blend of Learning, Growth and Campus Life at CVRGU

Faculty & Teaching quality , Most faculty member were knowledgeable and supportive
Campus Life: The campus are very vibrant with the event like technical fests, cultural program and hackathons
Infrastructure: The auditorium, cafeteria, sports grounds

Dislikes

Hostel food could be more varied and betterquality
Administrative processes were slow example approval or document work too longer than needed

Placement Experience:

Placement start from 6th semester with company like Cognizant , Acccenture, Capgemini, Cisc0 and many more visiting the campus. The average package is around 3.6-4.5 lpa and highest goes to 15-17 lpa. Around 80-90% of student get placed.

A first year student's view

Likes

They have active clubs where you can play chess carrom according to your preference
You get plenty of holiday. Every Saturdays and sundays off
Some teachers are really nice. Especially the seniors are very nice so there's no ragging

Dislikes

They try to complete 6 month course within 3 months
Their examination department is really poor. You get average marks
You would not be guided properly and they have a very strict atmosphere

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester you are eligible for campus placements. Companies that visited our college are cognizant, amazon, google, tcs, accenture etc. Highest offer was made of 65 lakhs and a good number of students get placed. My plan is to get placed in a company with good salary once i get my degree

My Journey To The College - What Worked & What didn't

Likes

Campus environment - Greenery all around , size wise moderate .
Most of the faculties are cooperative and helpfull.
there are so many clubs that you can participate starting from research club to cultural clubs.

Dislikes

Placement and internship Opportunities are decent .
sports facility is reasonable need improvements
apart from the faculties all other departments like admission cell , account section are not cooperative.

Placement Experience:

After the 5th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Mostly companies come in the 7th sem. Companies like TCS, Infosys, LTIMindtree have visited and around 300, 100,80 students got selected respectively. The average package is around 4 lakh. 60 percent of students get placed .

The curriculum is relevant with good mix of theory and practice. It prepares well for real world applications but lacks hands on focus. Exams are moderate more practical exposure and updated method are needed

Honest Review of CGU

Likes

I liked the faculties they were so good. They are well experienced and helped me a lot in my college life. They guided me every time. They were available any time for us.
The campus was full of greenery. Everyone will love the campus no matter what.
There are different clubs for different activities. College also gives funds for them which helps students to participate in competitions.

Dislikes

Offices are not placed in a planned manner. Pike after completion of work from one office you have to go to another building for the other office.
Faculties were good and teaching was very good but they should help students to learn how real life projects work.
College should provide internship opportunities from 2nd year itself

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I love computers and I have deep intrest in computer science sk I choose this course. I learned much necessary things in the college. College should help and provide skills according to the students. There were hackathons done by the college which is a good step towards the development of students. The main focus should be in the practical knowledge than the thoery as in real world students have to deal with projects where labs practices play a major role.

The environment is quite good. Focus on skills.

Placement Experience:

Form 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements.Tcs, infosys and many known companies take mass requirement here. Highest was 15 LPA here. After degree I would like to have a job for my own.

Likes

College has very big campus size approx 100 acres.
Very good infrastructure and also have Hi-Tech lab equipment.
Some faculties are very good in the respective fields.

Dislikes

There is Mandatory 75% attendance criteria
Some faculties are not good in delivering knowledge.
In Many classroom there is no AC facility.

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement the average placement pakage our college offers is 5lkp. Companies that vist our colleges are TCS,cognizant,tec Mahindra, cisco etc. Highest offer is 33lkp. Every year around 1k students got placed.
