Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is relevant and covers both core and modern tech ai and cloud, which helped me choose this course. it prepare well for jobs and higher studies. Exam are held twice semister and are moderated in difficulty. More practical exposure and industry projects would improve it further

Internships Opportunities

4

The college pffered internship opportunities mainly in the 6th - 8th semester through on campus drives. Companies like Capgemini, TCS,and Infosys offered roles software developer. with stipends ranging 20000-25000

Placement Experience

4

Placement start from 6th semester with company like Cognizant , Acccenture, Capgemini, Cisc0 and many more visiting the campus. The average package is around 3.6-4.5 lpa and highest goes to 15-17 lpa. Around 80-90% of student get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

I pursed my B.TECH in Computer Science & System Engineering (2019-2023). Tuition fees : 117000 per year registration fees:1570 per sem. Development fee:0 lab fees:0 other than my batch it intcrease :175000- 200000 They provide some scholarships for sc/st like prerna scholarships

Campus Life

4

Campus life was vibrant with fests like Cultura and Techfest held anually in feb-march. There were club, dance, sports and well equipped classrooms . The library was good book access and student run clubs added great value to social life.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel was safe and had basic facilities like bed, table, cupboard and Wi-Fi. Mess food was average with a fixed Indian menu and occasional non-veg. Registration was done during admission and fees were around 67000-77000 yearly. I stayed in the hostel,so didn't opt for any rented accommodation.

Admission

I chose C V Raman Global University due to its placement, less fees and modern infrastructure and updated curriculum. Compared to other colleges I apploed to CVRGU offered better labs industry exposure and a more practical learninf approach. I couldn't make it to few government colleges due to cut- off ranks. The admission process was smooth through OJEE counselling and diect admission for management quota

Faculty

4

The faculty at C V Raman Global University are mostly approachable and supportive with a faculty-student ration around 1:20. Professors like Anjana maam,Debasis sir stood out for their practical teaching. The exam system includes internals , labs end semester exam with fair marking scheme. The curriculum is mostly relevant and updated with current technologies.

Night Life

3

Nightlife around the campus was clam and safe . The library and cafeterias closed by 7pm, and the gym by 8 pm, while hostel entry was strictly by 6:30pm. Students usually hung out at the cafe inside the hostel. These relaxed evenings helped us unwind and enjoys a balanced college life.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because at first I was interested to automobile engineering but I didn't got it from other college so I preffered this mechanical engineering. It is a very though course as it seems. And there was 1:7 for faculty and student ratio. Faculties were highly qualified and some did PhD and m. Tech and other are fresher. The teaching skill differ person to person. The thermodynamics faculty was very excellent. In every year there was 2 semester and it is a little difficult. And before semester there was internal and viva.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Padmanava College of engineering is coming under Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT , odisha). As there is always a myth about private colleges that they help in cheating but from my experience padmanava College is strictly against cheating and rather it supports quality of education. If you are a hard working student you will pass the exam very easily.
