BIT Mesra Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students get eligible for placements in in their 6th semester ending.. There are many companies that come to BIT Mesra. Some of them are Qualcomm, Intel , Nvidia Etc . Highest offer till date made is around 1 cr. Generally 80 percent of students get placed per year. I plan to do GATE exam after Btech

Students become eligible after third semester for internships. A lot of companies visit the campus for hiring and placements. We have a training and placement cell in the campus itself. The placements are decent for every branch if you do perform well and you have decent academics with no backlogs. on an average 80 to 85% student gets placed. The highest package was from CSE, and was for 65 LPA. The Mishra campus has an average CTC of INR 11.57 lakhs per annum.

The placement for the circuit of branch of the college is very good for the CSE it is around 22.5 lakhs at an average package and for easy branch it is around 14 lakhs have ever due to the recession the placements have won very far down and now the package of CSS around 18 lakhs have for the nose circuit branch the packages are very low so don't go there for the if you are planning to go for non circuit of branches then he that take mathematics and computer the packages quite good habit is a BSc course but the package offered is similar to as that of EC branch if you are a hard working person. Nonsencated the packages around 8 to 10 lakhs which comes in hand to be around 42 30000 rupees which is quite good which is quite less if you are taking giving around 20 lacs into in fees so take circuit a branch or go for any other college if I not getting a circuit

Placement in computer science branch is very good with average package of 16 lakhs Placements in circuital branches is also well and good offcampus placements is also very attractive almost 95 percent of students gets placed at time of their farewell

The placement of our college is very good in CSE the highest package goes up to 51 or 56 lakhs on campus but in other branch there is less package as as many companies will comes to our college for placement the GPA criteria for each company where is but on an average it lies up to 7 or 7.5 it is eligibility criteria not the placement criteria the placement GPA criteria based upon the qualified student

As of my knowledge the last year placement was not that good. But the average package around 15 lakhs for cse. More than 150 companies visited like microsoft ,accenture, adobe, Deloitte. Placement rate was around 85 % in cse.

you will get eligible for placements from the 7th semester.the companies generally allows all circuital students to sit in the it placements.one needs to have atleast 7.5 cgpa to be eligible to sit in the placements.companies like amazon google microsoft qualcom synopsis samsung visit in the campus.the package offered last year was 60 lpa which was oncampus.the average package for ece branch is 14 lpa and for cse is 17 lpa.last year 982 jobs were offered.more than 85 percent students got placed.my plan after the degree is to get a good job and after that to join the family business.

Production and Industrial engineering is a field which has wide scope in future. I opted for this course because i was very interested in learning more about supply chain management. The curriculum and study structure here ensures that you are ready for real world problems.

Lots of companies visit where they offer very large as well as decent pakage approx 90% students get placed with an average pakage of 13lac and maximum pakage of 77lac on campus where as off campus some students has got a pakage of 1.5cr .tata vedanta Microsoft etc offer large pakage

I don't like programming and sitting at a computer and neither my was marks was that great so I chose mechanical engineering (highest non circuital branch I could get). I'm just in first year so can't say exactly how relevant it is for real world but from what I've heard from seniors, they've told mechanical branch is good in our college. Areas of improvement can be reducing this 75% attendance policy, and teachers have got way too much power here and they know it and abuse that too. Some teachers almost bullies you for little things, like not covering your copy, or using different colour pen, or anything they don't like, especially when it comes to teachers of ECE and Electrical department, they are worst.
