Infrastructure, Lab, Environment in campus
Faculty are average they are too old for future technology but for new technologies we have Seminars
Courses are also good but cant understand why we have to study engineering drawing

Dislikes

Outdated circulum in our colleges must be updated
Number of assignments must be lessen to let the student to explore
Attendance criteria must be drop down from 75 to 65 percent

Course Curiiculum is pretty good i am in computer science branch presently 2nd year student Teaching should be more pracical lab basis but not theortical frequency of classes should me more and at same time frequency of classes sholud be less

INternshipd under professors can be done with stippend of almost 15,000 per month Several companies are google , microsoft , Accenture , Atlassian Several projects are also undergoing which we can join and assist

Placement in computer science branch is very good with average package of 16 lakhs Placements in circuital branches is also well and good offcampus placements is also very attractive almost 95 percent of students gets placed at time of their farewell

fee structure is almost 4lakhs per year including the hostel room and mess facilities several scholarships scheme is also available fur both undergraduate and postgraduate research under proofs is also quite popular with good stipend.

Overall campus life is well and good there are many clubs for almost every braches and deparment including future technology like Blockchain and Deep Learning tech festival includes pantheon and bitostav is our cultural fest

Hostel Facilities

hostel fees is almost 19000 for 1 semester almost 6 months mess menu is also well and good with frequency of non veg 4 times in a week Paneer and mushroom is also 3 times in a week Registration process is done in bit welfare society.

admission process was well and good organised in cat hall of bit mesra we have to submit all the documents specified by jossa in an envelop to the admission section and wait for verificarion jee percentile was 90 my state of residence was Bihar

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
