I feel so proud to be here and the faculty are just superb and awesome.
Thd placement in my college is pretty good in my branch the average package is ruppees 2500000 per annum many of big companies like microsoft, atlasian, amazon, google, wipro etc visits here for giving good placements
Even if bit mesra is a gift but still the fee structure is slightly more than other gifts on the other hand category scholarship, state scholarships and merit cum scholarships are also there for good and bright students.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is very bad they are very rude they don't listen to anyone else.
The mess fees quality is very bad and students prefer to eat outside
Some faculty members are very educated and experienced but some of them have absolutely no knowledge they have just got the degree are just there to disturb students.

Life at BIT Mesra

Likes

One thing I liked about this college is it's infrastructure. Sufficient space is available for smooth conduction of Every Process
Campus area is huge and is photogenic. The golden glow of Autumn leaves are just wow!
Sports Complex is quite spacious and items for sports like Football, volleyball, basketball ara always Available.

Dislikes

The attendance criteria. Like they are very strict regarding that and implement huge fine (38k) on shortage.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards, students become eligible for campus placements. For internships now, the companies have started hiring 4th-semester students as well. Placement stats were good until this year (well this is the situation Everywhere).

I liked the environment. The students friendly behavior of faculties. The atmosphere we get. The fest we attend the workshop we attend the extra curricular activities we perform.. The the teaching style of our faculty is the best thing in BIT. Our
Deans are too friendly. The interaction of our teacher is too good. The discipline we get over here and the mandatory attendance is the best thing that happens here.

Dislikes

Sometimes the management goes unwell. We get more pressure during end sem.. The night life for girls is complete zero. We are kept inside the hostel and there is no boundaries for boys they move around whol night the point is if we are in boy's
Should also be in.. Its not that we want to move but if we r not allowed boys should also be not allowed for the same thing.

Placement Experience:

The placement is good and the placement is good and high for CSE the placement for the CSE is good and high we get more placement for CSE one. There are higher placement in bit MESRA. I feel the placement is good and I m. Happy to be here the placement is good and very awesome.

The green environment around the hostels and academic building.
Teachers are very cooperative and help the students.

Dislikes

The location of the college is away from the city.
Connectivity is poor at night time and during vacation.

The campus placement is quite good . More than 200 companies visit every year provide around 800+ offers. The CSE department avg package is around 25 lakhs . If there were no campus placement students are well equipped with skills that will help them to get a handsoume job.

Likes

The fest and the cultural programs organized in the college are very pleasing to the eye and are very enjoyable
It has an extensive network of alumini which helps a lot during placements and also in the internships
The scenic beauty of the college is amazing.Also the campus size of 780 acres is a huge plus as it has adequate place formany facilities

Dislikes

The 75% attendance policy is the biggest negative about the college as that makes a compulsion upon the student
The mindset is a little old one...I.e in some programs there are barricades between the male and female students not allowing them to celebrate or enjoy together
There is no night canteen present in the campus..All the shops close by 11P.M and there is no source of food after that

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are good and big companies visit the campus.There is good opportunity for students of non circuital as well.For instance,the highest package last year was 52 lakhs on campus with average of 14lakhs and this does not include the PPOs offered.If you get a PPO then your package would be 84lakhs

Not all but few teachers are very understanding as well as caring and they make difficult subjects easy for the students to understand.
Some staffs of the labs are also very caring they help us when we don't understand the things in lab

Dislikes

The time gap between exams are not student friendly at all this just adds to more stress.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good but is given less time considering the course. Maybe giving more time to learning will improve the outcome and make it a bit easier for the students to learn and grasp things.

Placement stats are good and approximately 2500000 ruppes per annum is average package here
Environement of the campus is pretty good
Campus if full of greenery and full of fresh air

Dislikes

Academics are not much goos , you have to study online only
Course fee is very high and unaffordable
Hostel mess food is very bad and is very oily

The thing which I love most about my campus is it's environment.
Quality of students who come here is also good
Placement is also amazing.if you are good in any field you can get a good package

Dislikes

No night canteen available in whole campus
Boys to girls ration is very bad. It is so low
No token system in mess. Even if you are not in hostel fees for mess food will be deducted

Placement Experience:

Placement is good here like on average overall package provided is around 9 lpa and branches like ece cse get an average package of 14 & 18 respectively.many students also go for higher studies and for upsc many have already doing good in their own startup

A short review about BIT Mesra

Likes

The clubs in these college are quite good.
You can go outside of the college between 6 am to 10 am and no one will ask you.
Some faculty are quite friendly. The will help a lot during placement and projects.

Dislikes

Ece and EEE faculty are very strict and some physics faculty won't even pass exam easily
I have completed 2 years here they didn't change the hostel. They said they provide single rooms after 1st year but they aren't provided yet
Labs are very old in these college and in 1st year some labs equipments won't work but after 1st year every lab equipment will work

Placement Experience:

4th year students are eligible for campus placements. So many companies are visit during placement like Amazon, tata steel ,Flipkart, maruti, Tcs etc.. The highest package goes around 50 lakh for cse students, average goes around 15 lakh and for mechanical highest package goes around 16 lakh and average around 8lakh. Around 80 percent student are placed during campus placement.

BIT Mesra, a overall good college with a legacy.

Likes

Infrastructure is quite good. It is a lush green campus.
Facilities are good, as per the college.
The placements here are good, big companies visits the campus.

Dislikes

Faculties are quite self obsessed and always cut marks.
Hostel rooms are small to accommodate 2 people
Overall rest thigs are fine and will work.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is quite good, almost everyone eligible for the placement got placed in the senior batch. Big Companies like GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, ATLASSIAN visits the campus and offer internships too. Highest was: 85.4lakhs Lowest was: 10lakhs.

OVERVIEW OF COLLEGE BIT MESRA

Likes

I liked the college environment and the campus life very best.
The placement cell is one of the best section of the institute and liked it very much.
The faculties of the institute are of super minded, and the infrastructure of this institute is of purely glorious level.

Dislikes

The hostel accomodations are not so much worthy and upto mark.
The mess food quality being provided in the hostels are of not such a better quality.
The strictness and the pressure of academics which is put on the students here should be less. This is what I didn't liked the study pressure very much.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course basically deals with the chemical aspects and the researches going on in the field of Chemical Engineering. As I have a keen interest on the research field so I chose the chemical branch. Research works are the only ones which is based on real world live applications of this branch. The only area of improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods is that they should focus on doing the practical and research related works more than the theoretical stuffs which will be beneficial for the sake of an individual as this branch is basically based on research and environmental readings.
