  • My accommodation was also found by my agent; he suggested I should apply to the accommodation provided by the university.
  • There were no challenges, as my agent filled all the forms required to submit an application for student housing at the campus in the university.
  • Yes, I will only recommend student accommodation provided by the university inside the campus, as it's the most beautiful campus, self-sufficient, self-reliant, affordable (as compared to other housing), and more social. Events were hosted here, there were social hubs to socialise, bars to hang out, and restaurants to eat. and so many things under one area.
  • Accommodation is on the campus. Most students stay on the university campus. About 90%.

  • 600 pounds per month for 1 room (Attached bathroom)
  • No challenges; the university allots the accommodation. Just be early to fill in the form.
  • Yes, always take university accommodation. Saves a lot of time and money. And better for socialising.
  • The accommodation was on the campus. It is very close to where all the classes are held. So it makes it easier for everyone to commute on time.

  • I used the agency called MSL; they were really good. I had no complaints. There are a lot of other student agencies in Lancaster. If you prefer campus life, student accommodation on campus is decent. But I preferred city accommodation. All bills are usually included in the rent and the deposit is refunded once you move out. Accommodation in the city is 20 minutes away from the University.

  • I used the college website to find my accommodation.
  • Monthly rent is about £700/month.
  • I did not find any challenges, as the university accommodation process was simple. All students who get an admit get a link to book their accommodations so it was quite easy to do. I would recommend staying on campus.
  • The on-campus accommodation was about 10 minutes away from my classroom.

  • The competition is fierce and the companies are not willing to sponsor visas. If you have a PSW, you are most likely to secure a job in 6 months, but getting your employer to sponsor you is a bigger challenge.
  • The average salary that students land is around 35k pounds. There are various job portals and recruiting agents that help you find jobs.

  • University portal provides some options for both on campus and external accommodations. I chose on campus accommodation.
  • Within campus accommodation there are lot of options. I had taken a superior ensuite room for which the rent was around 177 GBP per week.
  • I didn't face any challenges, there are plenty of options and you are also provided an option to list any special requirements.

  • The accommodation I found was the campus accommodation. I chose it on the University website itself as I did not look for other accommodation as it was located far from the university.
  • I chose a standard accommodation and it cost around 410 GBP per month. In that we were given individual rooms with shared bathroom and a common kitchen for 6 people.
  • There were other accommodation options with private bathrooms as well with its appropriate price.
  • As it was a University accommodation it was located inside the campus itself.
