This International Human Rights and Terrorism Law Masters degree at Lancaster UniversityÊprovides a bridge from undergraduate level studies (or equivalent professional experience) to research, focusing on a distinct although relatively broad specialism.
The core modules, combined with appropriate optional modules, lay a strong foundation in the basics of international human rights, and the law relating to terrorism. The coursework requirements will develop research skills, and lay the basis for a substantial dissertation. Graduates completing the programme are equipped to engage in more specialised practical or academic research in this field.
This scheme offers two optional pathways, the programme of which will be confirmed by the student at registration:
Studying five modules with a 20,000 word dissertation
Studying six modules with a 15,000 word dissertation
