Oriental institute of science and technology, Bhopal

The college is good one and is providing quality Engineers to the country but the university part is really bad and students wouldn't pay attention to studies whole semester and can face exams easily by reading through Shivani guide.

Course curriculum was designed at University level i.e. RGPV, Bhopal but the curriculum is very old and primitive. Exam structure is nice and profound but students read from guide available named Shivani. And they face exams easily. Exam pattern, structure and the process, all are nice except the loophole of Shivani guide.

Placement and job opportunities are simply wonderful. Almost 80% of students get on campus selection to various MNC. My college gave best campus selection even when rest of Bhopal colleges were struggling to get even few students selected

Annual festival is celebrated. This is a week festival compromising several events. Many events happen throughout the year. Several sports activities, technical visit, site visits, seminar, workshops are organised.

Feasible but bit expensive. They charged about 60,000 per semester from me. But now they ask for more fee. Since time has passed. The fee is increased now. Presently they charge around 1 lakh per semester.

I haven't availed any such facility. But what I heard from my colleagues, they provided scholarship offered by the State Government. And they provided a decent amount by scholarship. No loan facility available at college level. However one can get from bank.

1. They focused on extra curricular activities and many events organised in annual festival. 2. Labs are wonderful. The mechanical workshop is nice. Mechanical labs are great. Computer labs are simply wonderful. 3. Nice opportunities for those who play cricket, badminton, volleyball etc.

Alumni network is very poor and no communication or help from seniors. Practically saying I personally never got any help from seniors nor I could help my juniors. So alumni network is really bad. And it definitely needs to be improved.

I appeared Pre-Engineering Test, an exam conduct by MPPEB. Then I went for document verification and had to do choice filling via online portal designed by MP technical education department. Then they alloted me this college based on my preference and merit marks of PET. then I had to visit my college for fee deposit and admission process.

Most faculty are contractual and ad-hoc basis. So we can't expect much quality of the teaching. But the one who are permanent, they are wonderful. Lab set up are nice. Special attraction are the computer labs. There are several wonderful and rich computer labs in the campus.
