OIST Bhopal is Outstanding!

Semi Conductor are now the next big thing and E&C engineering can help build that. Thus I chose this engineering as I don't want to be just a coder but want to build which helps in building a proper infrastructure or setup that can ease the workload. Exams happens very semester and internals are 25 and finals are 75.

My plans are to go out of Bhopal and explore and therefore I am preparing for GATE. Currently yes placements are there but not meaningful as core placements aren't provided and it's mostly the tech companies hiring CSE or other engineers and providing the same role to all.

Oriental and Sage are the two biggest education groups in Bhopal and I am in Oriental Group of Colleges. Our fees is unbelievable as it's just 90000 a year and since I am an OBC student mine is 60000. Rest like SC/ST students have to pay just 18000. I am from Bhopal so I have not taken hostels as otherwise hostel fees is around 1 lakh a year.

Our campus is big as there's 15-20 acres space in which there are quite a few buildings. Library, a work shop house and there's sports campus too. So freshers and all are ogrnized and we also have ample other fests and activities too.

Bhopal was the ultimatum given to me by my parents. There are four top private colleges or universities here like Jagran, LNCT, SAGE Group and Oriental Group. I got admission in all but since Oriental Group was the cheapest of them all I chose this to study.

I have the top level regard for them as our faculties are skilled, educated and above them are good teachers. Teaching is like running in their veins and all because they have made it their religion. So for that reason I am not naming any one or signling our one professor as all in my eyes are equal.

If there's one spot which we love hanging out at is Mahadev Pani Waterfall. Then we have Tekri, Lake Point View and many many food options. So, Bhopal has aot of options otherwise as well. Airport is close to our college and therefore students of other states gets easy commuting.
