OIST Bhopal is an outstanding institute!

CSDS or the engineering in which data science is the main subject is what I wanted to do. Our course have clinical subjects and by that I mean the subjects which are of importance and some note are included there. This is not all, as our faculties too are equally educated in that makes it even more enjoyable to study that.

To make students better, placements cell of our college arranges CIRT Classes. Like this year all the third year students has to attend that mandatorily. So that increases the chances of placements. This is one of the major factor why our placements ratio now is around 80% which was earlier just the 60%.

OIST Bhopal is a very affordable college right in the middle of Bhopal. The fees is 98000 a year but I get 26000 back as I have taken admission under OBC quota. SC/ST quota students get 57000 back. So fees is simply phenomenal as one doesn't have to worry about this part of engineering as otherwise private engineering colleges charges more than this per semester.

A campus of 17 acres with 2 buildings and a beautiful workshop. One of the buildings have a two floor library and there's enough area for us to play sports too. There are two indoor sports room and one rest area is there as well. Our auditorium is used for watching matches too and that's make life at the college much emore enjoyable than I thought it would be.

Admission are through 12th socre and entrance scores too matters. In 12th for General Category students 60% is mandatory and for OBC a minimum of 50% and for SC/ST students it's 50%. Post which as per the seats the cut-offs are announced and final admission happens.

OIST faculties are atleast best in Bhopal because they are definitely of highest qualification. If they haven't done Post Graduation in the same field they done stand qualified. Also, many many consider it a luck factor but 90% of the students of our college has over 8 CGPA. For me it's the kind of studies imposed on us by our faculties which have yielded such results.

Vibrant markets and historical places is what Bhopal is all about. Now Sarafa Market and Rohan Nagar are two major markets and that is where me along with some of my friends gon in evening. On the days we have some extra money, we do try absolute delicacies of Bhopal.
