Course Curriculum Overview

For me it's 2015 scheme it is given for 80 externals and 20 internals this was exam structure present 60 40 scheme is running where 60 is externals and 40 is internals.Course curriculum is that not much good they always take money and they won't issue hall ticket if you won't pay fair well fee

Placement Experience

For civil engineering I think 1or2 company may visit for other branches I think there plenty.

The Karnataka State government provided scholarship which returns upto 30 percentage of college fees no other scholarship are provided by college for students I think there is no encourage ment scholarship for poor students like me

I don't know because I have not joined because home is 12km away from so I use local transportation BMTC which will be always over crowded.But students who stayed there they told it's expansive to stay.

After completing my 10th I joined diploma and I wrote dcet and joined dsatm.The kea held dcet exam it will be given for 80marks maths and science and another 80for civil subject good

Not best but average this is my opinion teaching skills are out dated some faculty won't complete the position at all for some subjects which text book is not there for those subjects they won't give correct notes.

Placement Experience:

Last year due to recession the placements were low comparatively. From semester 7 onwards we are eligible for campus placements. I do not exactly have the correct statistics, but all the students who tried outside got the jobs easily. Highest package 32 lacks and least goes upto 3 lacks per annum. Last yearpercentage of students placed is 66 and before that it was more than 90 My plan is to get a good job, after the degree and if I cannot get a good job then I will go for higher studies abroad.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements by the start of the 7th semester, and the internships by the 5th semester. Since Mangalore has many MNCs, most of the campus drives start with those companies. We have an average package of 18LPA and it varies according to each branch of engineering. Mostly all the computer science-related branches have 23LPA as their average and the core branches have 14LPA. Almost 95 per cent of the students get placed. The highest package has even crossed 50LPA.

From 4th sem the placements drive starts if students are having 7.5 and abive they are eligible for placements some of the companies visited are Microsoft tcs tech Mahendra capgemini and etc highest package was 20LPA and average is 6LPA 30% are getting good placements my plans after degree is masters

Things you should know about presidency University

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the computer science was booming and also beeing an aspiring student towards that field I had decided to do CSE. The curriculum is was less practical towards the real world applications. They should have include industry professionals to teach they would have better knowledge and experience. Every one we used to have exam like mid term , FA, and end terms. Difficulty depends upon prepration level done by student.

Placement Experience:

They are eligible for placements after 4th semester and the placements are average, a lot of companies have visited I can't say them all ex like Infosys, TCS , and a lot of American and Taiwanese companies, the highest place ment in this campus was around 28lpa and average is around 1L and the percentage of students getting placements are below average like every other college cause this mostly depends on you and not the college its all based on your skill set. My plans are to get a job with a good lpa and I'm confident about that because I have a good skillset which would benefit the companies.

Eye into the life of a student in DSATM

I have taken admission through KCET, my rank was 18,000. I got the admission in the last round of counseling. The cutoff in 2021 for the first 2 rounds was 15,000 and 16,000.
