Course Curriculum Overview

4

As our college is fully Affiliated to VTU, the course is entirely designed by VTU. For our batch we had the curriculum revamped which makes it a bit more relevant with the modern technologies. Due to the covid our batch timings got delayed, but normally follow traditional dates.

Internships Opportunities

4

Our college has MoU's with many companies such as wise works, Nuevera, ISAC Foundation, etc. We were provided with internships in our 2nd year with ISAC Foundation in 3 domains - Graphic designing, dark web monitoring and web development.

Placement Experience

4

The placements for campus are done together with the other 2 Dayananda campuses, so the reputation of the placements of the Dayananda Sagar Institution is good. On an average 85 - 90% students are placed. There is also opportunity for international placements in Japan. For our batch the placements have begun with many well known companies coming to the campus.

I have taken admission through KCET, my rank was 18,000. I got the admission in the last round of counseling. The cutoff in 2021 for the first 2 rounds was 15,000 and 16,000. Due to OBC B2 category I got into the cutoff of 18,000. The entire process was done through KCET, the college admission process was smooth and without any issues.

Faculty

4

Being in the CSE Department, we have highly qualified teachers with a minimum experience of 4 to 5 years, the senior teachers are highly qualified with most teachers having PHD's. The teachers are really interactive and encourage us to compete for competitions.

Other Applied Colleges

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
