Remarks

College is good. It has a really impressive infrastructure. But the fees for MBBS in southern part of India is a bit high which is certainly not affordable for a student of lower economy. The hospital has lesser number of patients and the students get only less exposure to post-mortem for which we will be taken to BMC banglore.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The MBBS new curriculum is more student centred.one student has to work really hard to become a good doctor. But it makes sure that he will be one. The new curriculum is very different from the old MBBS curriculum ,the new one includes a lot more practical and clinical sessions.

Placement Experience

4

For A good doctor job will come in search of him. The college has a really impressive result. The percentage of passed students is almost a 100. And 100 percent of them are to become good doctors.

College Events

4.5

All the important events all over India are celebrated in the college as the college also has students from outside Kerala. But the keralic festivals are importantly celebrated as the college is in Kerala and most of the students are from there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is expensive and is not affordable for a middle or lower class student. But compared to most of the medical colleges in southern part of India the college has a less expensive fee structure which is still high.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes a loan is offered to the students from the college itself. It helps us to take a student loan from the bank if necessary. All you havevto do is to go through certain legal steps. The bank provide 50 to 80 percentage of the student loan which we can start paying once the course ends.

Campus Life

5

The college has a good lab facility. All the labs anatomy , physiology, biochemistry , forensic etc are maintained in a very good condition and has all the facilities. The college also has various platforms for extracurricular activities and sports. The college also has a well equipped gym.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel facility and the stay is awesome. It's better than any other medical colleges of Kerala. The mess is really good the the food there is really good. The hostel is six floors. The infrastructure is really impressive. Each room is for 3 or less students and it has all the necessary facilities.

Alumni/Alumna

Actually as I'm a first year MBBS students and is new to the college I don't know much about the seniors here not so far they gave been really good to me and they were there for me when I needed a helping hand in my academics.

Admission

My rank was 50000 in the neet examination and I got the admission from spot admission.I was in general merit of government quota. I had many other choices but I choosed this beautiful college by considering the oppinions if my family and friends.

Faculty

4.5

The P K DAS intitute has a very good faculty. And an excellent team of doctors. The notes given by the professors are really good and useful. The faculty are always there to help you in your needs. They even help you with your research.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.
