Remarks

Apart from good education and well teachers i must say this is one of the best college in howrah.principal has a Strict behavior so any dispute can not be seen in the entire campus.Maintainances are not so good but overall it is okey. Thus , i feel proud to be a part of this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

i studies B.Sc(Computer sci) which is a great field to touch in technology. I highly refer those who did not get admission for B.Tech can join B.sc(Computer sci). Exam procedures are decided by university. Calcutta University established their new CBCS rule. it is a semester base education system.

Placement Experience

3

After passing over 60% from Calcutta university most of the students got their jobs but others go for post graduate. But nowadays getting a job is so hard even you have a 80% marks. Thus, you have to go for a post graduate degree. No our college do not provide any internship program.

College Events

3.5

Lots of events, functions are celebrated in our college. 1. Teachers' day 2. Freshers 3. annual sports 4. annual social 5. sarwasati puja 6. world environmental day 7. Blood donation camp 8. NCC programs 9. NSS program 10. Independence day. and so many

Fee Structure And Facilities

UG students has a fees between Rs. 4000 to 6000 per annum. PG has between 12000 to 18000 per annum. Comparatively it is a fare fees structure. Also cheaper than other colleges in Howrah. tution fees of UG only 150 per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are different scholarships available for UG and PG. Scholarship includes stypen or tution fee weaver. many students getting help by this scholarships. Every year Top of the college gets a scholarship which provides all educational fees for his/her post graduate.

Campus Life

3

There is a NCC department for whom wanted to join army can train himself/herself in a basic level. A NSS department is always ready for helping the flood victims, or any other critical situations. Blood donation camps are organized by the NSS.

Alumni/Alumna

alumni is good.but some are not so helpful. however most of the alumni.is well at their behavior. Seniors are so helpful and treated as a brother-cum-friends.you will not seen ragging, epteasing or any other rude behave by seniors.

Admission

first you have to fill up a casual form. then according to your Previous results your position on the merit list will decide your admission. after that a security deposit has to be paid for sit booking. After confirmation of final admission amount of admission must be paid to get a sit.

Faculty

3.5

Faculties are so good, helpful and friendly. most of the departments has more qualified teachers. Mostly Our department's teachers are so helpful and frank to us. We believe education can be more interesting through this way. Post graduate is unknown to me.

My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.
