college purpose is very good.

The campus life in our college is quite good, there are more girls in the college as compared to boys and the college takes keen interest in competitions like singing, dancing, quiz as well as there are debate competition which takes place in the common room of our college, the extracurricular activities in the college is not so good because the college doesn't have their own playground for sports

Placement -there are companies like TCS, icici, etc who comes for campusing of students after 3rd year. Besides the college organizes several workshops on interviewing skills. There are mock tests for students who aim to have a government job after graduation.

The events celebrated in the college are very good and students enjoy a lot in the events which were celebrated in the college, there were dance and singing competitions held in the college auditorium, annual functions take place outside the college in other auditoriums, there were also different cultural programs held in the college.

The fee structure in the college is very feasible and according to me, it is one of the best colleges in Kolkata because it provides a very good educational facility in a very low fee structure as compared to other colleges with expensive fee structure, the fee structure is about 3500 rs per annum which is very affordable and reasonable for the students

Sorry but there are not any scholarship facilities or loan facilities offered or availed by the college for all the students but there is scholarship facility for the sc/st students.

In our department, that is under the English honors department we go through yearly exams, first of all, one exam takes place of two subjects one of alternative English and one of compulsory English and after that the honors subject and the optional subjects are taken place, other than this yearly exams, there were few tests which take place in the college before the yearly exams

The alumni network and the senior students in our college are very friendly as well as helpful, the senior students always step forward for the problems which were faced by the freshers or any other students in the college

First of all I applied online through the college website, I filled up the admission form of English honors then I provided all my important details about my past studies and marks..then my form was submitted to the college website after that I paid rs 200 for the college admission form, after waiting for few days, merit last was provided by the college in their college website and I got my name in the 2nd merit list, after that I was given a date for verification of my documents and after proper verification by the respected teachers, my admission process was completed and my name has been enrolled in the college as a student
