Remarks

Whatever are the good or bad sides of the college every student loves their college whatsoever are the problems. As said earlier the college needs to work on creating employment opportunities for the students by firstly improving their lab facilities and then improving their placement cell.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum covered almost all the required syllabus for a mechanical engineering course. The exam structure contains Mid semister exams of 30 marks in which 20 marks were of written exam and 10 marks for PPT. And End semister exam which was of 70 marks written and rest of Assignments and Final ViVa.

Placement Experience

3

Very few placement opportunities during our time but now they are improving the placement cell. No they didn't provide internship opportunities. We have to arrange ourselves that too for summer internship.

College Events

2.5

Annual functions, Independence Day, teachers day. These are the functions which are celebrated every year in our college while some Technical festivals and events are also done in which students from other colleges also joins. Students gets chance to show their technical skills.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it's a government college anyone can easily afford its fee structure. Its feasible to everyone and anyone can study here without worrying about its fee. Tution fee is around Rs 1500 for a semester. Which Hostel fees around 600 for a sem.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not aware if any scholarship was awarded by my College side but I will tell about the scholarship I was availing. I was getting scholarship under central government scheme known as Central sector scheme of scholarship for college and university students, India.

Campus Life

4

There are labs with very few equipment for doing practicals which I think are the best ways to teach an engineering student through practical ways. This somewhat disappointed me. As this is a government college this issue will remain in almost every government college. Every year sports week is also celebrated.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes some helps and guides us with their experiences on how to properly prepare of exams, vivas etc and also guides in Project preparations. They also acts as good teachers during exam times and solves our problems.

Admission

Firstly I gave JEE preliminary exam and 12th science exam. A common merit was prepared from both the exams and according to the merit through a admission body for professional courses in Gujarat known as ACPC( ADMISSION COMMITTEE FOR PROFESSIONAL COURSES) I got admission in this college.

Faculty

3

Honestly speaking, the faculty were a combination of hard working and some were lazy also. Some took regular lectures and some didn't. Those who took lectures they give lectures till end of the semister while some took only for few months after starting of the semister.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we all know , college learning is not only about textbooks, and real world knowledge is equally important. in this area, the college supports student well by giving exposure to practical learning . the course includes industry related topics, and teachers also try to explain how concepts are used in real life. the curriculum is helpful, but adding more modern tools, software and hands on projects would make it even better. Overall, the syllabus prepares student for future jobs and higher studies, while still leaving some room for improvement.

studemts become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The placement acitivity keeps happening throghout the final year.companies like TCS,Tata LTIindtree, wipro and few local startup like tcs and ltimindtree and the avg pakage stays on the lower sidw compared to big private colleges,The opporrinties are there ,but not as many as we expect. the percnatage of stundents getting placed depends a lot on the batch ,but it's definitely not 100%. A good number of students get interships or jobs their own efforts also, beacuse some companies dont visit every year.if a student if genuinely working on skills and projects, they can manage to get something , but the college placements alone might not be enough for evryone. after completing my degree, l plan to work on my technical skills and try for better opportunities throgh of campus options as well.i don't want to depend only on the on capus placements.my goal is to build a good portfolio so i can apply to bigger companies later.
