Remarks
It is an amazing college and I'm proud and happy to be a part of it. The overall experience is really good and would suggest and recommend it to others and upcoming sharp minds of our country. But I like everything there is still room for improvement.
Course Curriculum Overview
The structure is very simple simple. There are annual exams held in the month of March which have to be cleared to be eligible for next year. Each paper is of 100 marks and there is a total of 6 papers in commerce all of which have to be passed with more than 33% marks each with 36% overall aggregate.
Placement Experience
There is no such job opportunity available through campus selection in Bcom but there is much more opportunity in MBA. No, the college do not provide internship to Bcom students this no issue of stipend exists.
College Events
There is usually only one event held only for Bcom students which is Freshers cum Farewell party but there are many workshops, seminars and events held in other departments of the university which can be attended by any student of the university of Allahabad.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is exemplary. Since it is a central government university so the fees is very feasible and you can also get your fees reimburse through state or central scholarship schemes if you are eligible for them.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are no grants or scholarships facility provided by university itself but eligible students can get the benefits of state or central scholarship scheme. There is also no loan facility available with university but all students loans are entertained.
Campus Life
Since I'm a Bcom student so we don't have much labs and activities but yes there are many sports activities and extracurricular activities to keep the students engaged in more than just education. The sports facilities are not that good but they do exist.
Hostel Facilities
No, I haven't opted for hostel. But I can say the hostel facility is the only drawback for the university though the infrastructure is really good but there is lack of maintenance, coordination and administration.The fees is also affordable.
Alumni/Alumna
The list of alumni is very long yet very prideful. University of Allahabad is among some the best universities in India and is often referred as the Oxford of the east. The senior students are very helpful and I'm glad to tell that this custom and heritage is being carried forward with coming new students
Admission
Firstly you have to apply using the university website. You can select your field and choice of courses. Then you have to prepare for the entrance test after which your entrance test marks are evaluated and if qualified in entrance exam you have to apply for enrollment after which you get your admission on your entrance marks basis.
Faculty
The faculty is highly educated and helpful. They can guide you through your journey in the university as well as post university. The faculty is so helpful that it will leave a lifelong good imprint on your memory.
