VESIT-Review

Overall it is a good institution with a very professional and strong faculty. We have state of the art equipments as well in our labs and college has a very strong legacy of good placement statistics.

Course curriculum and exam pattern were affiliated to Mumbai University. We had mid terms and end sems and Viva exams as well. College faculty completed the syllabus in advance and also helped us prepare for mocks.

College doesn't provide internships. We have every year mass recruitment from firms like Accenture and Capgemini which are IT consulting companies. However, as far as core jobs are concerned we do not get much companies. Accenture or Capgemini provide a package of around 315000 PA to freshmen.

College has 2 fests - Praxis and Utsav, technical and cultural respectively. Praxis is celebrated in odd sem and utsav during the winter sem. Apart from this we also have Sphurti which is sports week, usually in feb.

College fees is feasible and we also have SC ST OBC quotas as well. Fee basically includes tution charges, disaster recovery fee, computer internet fees. We pay the fees annually with the means of a demand draft towards our college.

Our college, every year organizes alumni meet and students are sent invitations and it is a good platform for meeting each other and our faculty as well.

Post HSC i gave an entrance exam called as MHT-CET, and based on that score college had created a merit list. I was a part of that merit list and i chose instrumentation as my stream for engineering. Which was later upgraded to electronics.

Faculty is really good and understanding. More emphasis is given to attendance and we also have options of electives as well. Regular mocks and mid terms are arranged for us so that we can get acustomed to final sem.
