Course Curriculum Overview

3

curriculum is great like from first year to final year all subjects are relevennt and necesary for every engineer to have .. but they need some iimprovement like in labs only selected programs are done .. the logic in not forced . and 80% student just byheart the code .. i think this the only problem.. students should be given small tasks and to think and code by thenself.. i also feel 70% students learn far better from youtube then college.. and 95% students study befor exam 1 week or a day before exam

Internships Opportunities

4

internship opportunities start from 4th sem itself first we will get unpaid internship , but if we perform well we have chance to get internship with great stipend in 3rd year many companies come but its all on us that how much we build our skills * my honest advice dont just depend on college learn at home side by side throgth yt or any other sources

Placement Experience

2

on college website college placement are shown great like 6 lpa average and highest 40lpa with 98% but in reports they dont mention roll nos of the students who got placed i am not in touch with my super seniors but yeah i saw many interviews happening in our college from 6th sem placement opportunitites start and there is chances of getting ppo my plan is if i failed to get a job by the end of my 4th year ill try for govt exam side by side because this ai era is taking away all biginner level jobs

Fees and Financial Aid

the year wise fees generally is 165000 per year excluding exam fees etc.. reambursement is there i have not much info about it.. but i got free seat(0 tution fee) throgh EAMCET by getting rank(9070) under 10000.. registration fees during admission was 8500 per year they take 5000 as fees exam fees is 2k per sem and 500 extra for each backlog

Campus Life

5

honestly campus life is very decent and great with many clubs events etc.. the main major event is our annual event "NIRVANA" which is celebrated with soo much energy and many sport events happens also we get chance to represent our college in other colleges yeah overalll cultural events are less like nirvana and 2-3 more per year tech event is also celeberated with great energy with soo many different events held by diffrent branches library is also big and full of various books and we just need to use our id card to take any book from libraray for 14 days then we can apply again for free seeting is also very calm and large area every classroom have a projector and white board there are plenty of clubs like photography,dance,innovation,coding,etc,.. and many more

Hostel Facilities

4

college hostel is very decent with all things .. food is great and clean .non veg is given 2 days a week there is a large ground in hostel as well , senior and junior blocks are seperate but the feesis 1 lakh per year and market is quit far in room for juniors 10 member hall is there but from second year you can get 4/3/2 member rooms.. every student will get a desk and chair also all necessary things but only part i hates was washrooms there is common bathroom system for whole hostel * if you want to college hostel you should be fast because seats fill very fast *there is no college hostel for girls but many nearby private hostel are there * i live in private hostel with 80k per year fees for 3 member room .. there are a lot of private great hostels near college some even provide bs/auto facility

Admission

1. i applied for cbit, ou, jntuh, vnr, grrr, vasavi, cvr through EAMCET in 1st phase i got MJCT which was decent but placement was very less also no hostels.. in phase 2 i got seat in cvr this college was great in placement and academics but problem was it was too far also the hostel fees is too much.. and finally in phase 3 i got mgit-cse.. honestly i was applying colleges by seeing there cutoffs like mgit was closest to my rank and remaining all were lesser then my rank .. 2. there was no rejection i only changed my mind 3.admisssion process in mgit you can get better details in mgit.ac.in but main sorce is EAMCET and cutoff is around 10k for oc cse.. admisson is smooth and i am happy

Faculty

4

faculty-student relationship is very great but some faculties are very strict regarding academics and serios on small things like notes, attendense etc..but 99% faculties are freindly and students can feel free to ask their doubts and all... late ms Gousiya mam was the best faculty i studied from till now.. she delivered the subject with full energy and best explanation but recently she passed away as our sem ended.. sem2 we had a faculty for python her name was ms navya.. she literally didnt care much just opens pdf and explains program but python is most crucial for interviews, for now she is not present in college.. exams: there are 3 main exams :- mid1,mid2 and sem mid1,mid2 are easy to get good marks bcz clg faculty will only correct and also they will provide some important questions from which only questions arive.. sem is unpredicteble it may get hard or easy but if u master last 5 year papers you will easily pass overall aprox 5-10 students fail in each subject

Night Life

5

so the college hostel is not inside the campus so campus will be closed at 7 pm only my favret spot to hangout is cricket ground and sometime canteen.. the canteen is very great with lot of variety of tasty food and drinks in college hostel we have gym which is decent, college hostel is strict in timings.. if you want to go out you have to call your parents and get a permission outside collge like very near we have osman sagar park which is very great with peace and the big lake connected to it.. students can go there to relax or hangout also

I chose KGRCET for its Autonomous curriculum and K-Hub innovation culture. The green, 14-acre campus is beautiful and perfect for studying.Placements are solid, with companies like TCS and Cognizant offering averages of ?4.5 LPA and highs up to ?16 LPA.

There are 2 sems for a year and for a sem there will be 2 mid exams and 2 lab exams. Those mid marks will we added to final result. We have to pay for the examination to attend the exam. The level examination is moderate to high . In some cases very tough. We have to practice more for this exams. LAb exams are also very tough we have to execute all the programs

Generally, students from 3rd year second semester are eligible for the placements. some, who are interns at a company earns the place to proceed for the rest of life. some others should try harder because they didnt get the internship. It is important to get internship. Companies do visit vasavi such as visa, silicon labs, cisco and more to pick interns or to pick engineers. percentage around 60-70 gets placed every year. Actually placements decreased after the recession.
