Remarks

There is no negative remarks. IHM Goa is one of the top hospitality college in India. With best faculty, advance training, and college also provide lunch for the students. And IHM Goa have good exposure on the hotel industry.

Course Curriculum Overview

This is one of the best course only if your passionate towards hospitality. The exam is for 200 marks. Which has aptitude English general knowledge Maths. There will be negative marking for wrong Answers

Placement Experience

IHM Goa have 100% placement. And all the b.sc students have to do there internship on there 2nd years which will be divided into summer and Winter batch. Internship have a period of 4 months. Which is 1 month in each major department like. Housekeeping, food production, food and beverage, front office. The stipend depends on the hotel. The hotel pays the students the stipend.

College Events

In IHM Goa. We have inter college events. We also celebrate fresher's party, onam day, ethic day, and theme lunch, high tea party. All the party and events and organised by the student of the institute.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee of the course which for 3 years. Should be paid by each semester where there will be 6 semester. The fee for the whole course will be around 4 lakhs. And for the hostel accommodation will be separate.

Fees and Financial Aid

IHM Goa offers scholarship for students. Which have to be applied from the college side. And They also provide loan for the students. And the loan depends on the bank. The fee can be paid with the help of loan or scholarship

Campus Life

IHM Goa have one of the best lab. Which is advanced in equipment. There is basic training kitchen, advance training kitchen, bakery with advanced oven and equipment. We also have front office lab, housekeeping lab, training restaurant

Alumni/Alumna

The IHM Goa alumini have been place in top hotel's as manager and executive. Some have also become celebrity chef. And the passed out are so helpful for the junior. there I alumini program for the students.

Admission

You've to apply for NCHMCT JEE entrance exam. You'll get AIR depends on your rank you'll be doing online council. Depends on the AIR college will be place. Top colleges will be given for good AIR this exam happens all over India

Faculty

IHM Goa has one of the best trained faculty. Everyone have experience in top hotel as a executive director and chef. And They have experience in teaching also. They're experienced around 10 year as a senior lecturer. And assistance with 5yrs

Overall Experience with IHMCT GOA

Placement Experience:

Placement start from 5th semister with hotels like, Taj, Oberoi, Marriots etc. visiting campus. The highest package was offered that time back in 2015 was Rs. 400,000/- and the average package was around Rs. 250,000/-. After graduation started working in a restaurant chain in Mumbai. Was selected in a campus placement in Saudi Arabia, but due to some political interferences at 2015, had to drop the idea. After some years, I transitioned my career to Data Science in 2024.

Me and my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

if I am being honest, I chose this course because of my brother he is in this industry and doing very well, but I did not know that to pursue your career in this field. You really need passion for this industry which I like, and currently, I am suffering because I do not want to do this anymore, and I am thinking about leaving it, but for students who are really interested in this field, the curriculum is very nice. It focuses on practical as well as theoretical knowledge. The training provided by teachers is very nice.

IHM GOA Review

Placement Experience:

Anyone is eligible for campus placement by end of the 5th see there are a lot of placement options. but the salary that is provided at the associate level for any employer is way too less, it's close to 12-15k per month. But when selected for MT Programs, it is somewhere 23-28k per month and a hike of position and salary after two years or completion of the MT Program duration.

IHM - A Student's Perspective

You have to be a 12th standard pass with 60%. Generally, you have to apply by taking the NCHMCT JEE exam, and if you crack it, you will be offered 3 IHM institutions of India to select and then they proceed.
