Remarks
The college campus is beautiful and green. The structure of the buildings are planned very well, and are surrounded by trees and flowers. It is a shooting Spot for many Kannada movies. The campus has a separate library building.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course duration is of 4 years ( 2 semester per year) Every month Internal Assessment test will be conducted. Total 3 internal assessment test will be conducted. At the end final exam will be conducted
Placement Experience
Most of the companies visit for placements are IT companies. Job opportunities depends on the individual how he/she performs in the interview. College has its own placement cell and they train students through classes like Special Placement Training classes from the first year itself, they also refer students to various job opportunities.
College Events
Acharya Habba is the college fest celebrated every year in the month of March. It is the offici annual gathering for all the school/college come under Acharya Institute. Normally it is 3 day fest. Rather than this many events can be witnessed in the campus frequently which are organised by various departments
Fee Structure And Facilities
If you get seat through KCET quota the fees is not too high, if you get seat through COMEDK the fees will be high almost 3-4 times than KCET quota and if you get seat through management quota the fees varies on choose course and streat
Fees and Financial Aid
Many government and non-government scholarship are available for students during the study. It depends on course and students eligibility. Recently Acharya Institutes had tie-up with Punjab National Bank which offers education loan to the students studying in Acharya Institutes.
Campus Life
Every department had its own laboratory. The college had cricket, football and basketball ground. Extra curricular activities will be conducted frequently by all the departments. There will be annual sports meet too. Also cricket league and football league will also be conducted.
Hostel Facilities
I will rate overall hostel experience as 5/5. Acharya hostel is the best. The infrastructure is best in class, and hostel campus is beautiful and well maintained. There are two Indian hostel, one is for Engineering students and another for other students of Acharya Institutes. The hostel provides everything needed for students easy life like bed, pillow, cot, study table, wardrobe, WiFi, LAN port, attached bathroom for every room, regular maintenance. The attractive part of the Acharya hostel and campus is the descipline, it had zero ragging overall campus.
Alumni/Alumna
Every year there will be Alumni meeting where the passed out students and currently studying students will be gathered. Alumni will address, guide and motivate the students. They will also be updating job vacancies.
Admission
I wrote KCET in the first week of May 2014, In the third week results were declared. After the document verification counselling was done as per ranking. I got the seat in the first round of counselling
Faculty
Most of the faculties are well experienced in the teaching field. Also many faculties are doing PhD along with the teaching. They will train and motivate students time to time. They are very friendly in nature
