Course Curriculum Overview
I like coding and building stuff, in short to solve problems and this course helps alot to me in doing that. Not many areas for improvement i say becuase the course is designed very well, but there could be a little more focus on practical coding stuff . Can also iintegrate practical and teaching so that students understand very well. Frequency of exams can be improved because the actual sem is supposed to be 6months but the exams are being held in every 4 months, which doesnt give us a lot of time to recover from the previous exams
Internships Opportunities
Internships aren't very much but the faculty tries their best to help us land an internship and teaches alot. Internships offers are from talentcogent, vision . The college has introduced a new program called the Industry ready program to help students build real life projects under faculties guidance and be future proof for the job.
Placement Experience
From 6th Semester students become eligible for campus placements, companies that visit MJ are Wipro,TCS,dell,TalentCogent. highest might be around 12LPA and average might be around 3.5 LPA 10% of the students get placed Planning to find a good job in the city.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees structure tuition fees 125000 caution fees 7k admission fees 6k exam fees 3k per sem scholarships are available governament reimbursement where u get full scholarship and central scholarsip which covers 35% of the fees
Campus Life
Theres a lot of festivals in the campus such as IEEE week, Food fests and other events such as hackathons like Hackrev, datanyx etc. The library has most of the course related or subject related books and anyone who is a student can go and rent them. Each and every classroom has a projector and has two boards apart from that we have excellent subject/ course laboratories. Sports aren't too mainstream in the college. lots of clubs and most of them conduct informative, entertaining and progressing events which teaches more about the field.
Admission
I applied to lords college of engineering and technology and aswell as deccan college of engineering , I chose this college over them because it has a better name than other colleges , has a good placement ratio and easy to acces (in the city ). No i didnt get any rejection from the colleges i apllied to. The college takes admission from TSEAPCET aswell as management quota. It has a cutoff of 38k for cse department in eamcet.
Faculty
theres atleast 4 faculty for each subject, they interact well and explain doubts very clearly. i liked MR Sher Khan and Asra Jabeen they're excellent english faculty , Mr.Amanullah he solves and teaches maths very well, Mrs Manjusha and Mrs Maniza Hijab. College is associated to osmania university very prominent uni which improves the value of your degree, Yearly 2 sem exams and the pass percentage is above 50%
Night Life
there are two cafes in the college, but they are closed at 5pm. There is no night life in the college as it doesn,t have hostels . There are 3 big grounds in the college and auditorium where most of the college events are held and a mosque as it is a muslim minority college.
