What Students Say

Likes

The faculty here is really experienced and thorough in their subjects.They are all pretty friendly and charming.
The schedule here is pretty amazing.It is not hectic 9-5 like other colleges.It changes every sem.
Our college is located in between the city rather than being on the outskirts.This might seem as a disadvantage but not for us.It is peaceful inside and every public transport is accessible.

Dislikes

The things I dislike about my college is that there is that the equipments used in our labs are pretty old

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is nice but I would like to say that it is a little bit outdated.We use the syllabus provided by osmania university.The teaching methods here are very interactive though and they help us pass our hard external exams.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Since I belong to a minority caste I do not have to pay even a penny for the tuition fees.All of the amount will be reambarced by the government.My friends who enrolled from management quota though they belong to the same category have to pay 120000 as their tution fees per year.

Campus Life

Well regarding social aspects I have become more socially active and bold student since I have joined this college.This college gives you the freedom to choose what you feel is good for you.There is no academic pressure what so ever.

Admission

I love the environment here and the staff here is surprisingly good.Our college is also one of the most reputed college once upon a time.I knew that it wouldn't be as good as it was back then but still I believed it wouldn't be bad to study here

Faculty

Our faculty is highly experienced and helping in nature.Our teaching staff is nice and kind.But the administration staff here is very useless they do not know how to organise anything properly.Our college is non autonomous,hence externals are conducted at different centres.

Interview Experience

I did not have any interview for entrance in the college.I entered the college through EAMCET exam.the questions were quite tricky but there is no negative marking.O answered each and every questions.I opted for b option for every answer I do not know.

Night Life

Our college is located right in the heart of the city it is always lively here.But since it is in the middle of the city we have to face busy roads in the evenings.Our college does not have hostel facilities but many private hostels are available at walking distance

Placement Experience:

From 3.1 the students of the campus are eligible for placements and faculty also helps us in guiding regarding the placemnsts and stuff . There are various number of companies like tcs , Accenture , google ,Microsoft ,next wave and etc . The offered packages are full like our seniors are 100 percent placed from the campus . The highest package of last year senior is 14lpa.my plans after getting degree is to work in the company which I have been placed

placement scenario at mu is developing but not yet at the level one would expect from an institute that markets itself as industry alligned , while there are some good opportunities , overall placement perfomance is average eligibility: student become elgible for campus placements in 7th semester aptitude training , pre placement talks usually begin in 6th semester companies visited tech mahindra , infosys , tcs , cognizant , accenture , hexaware highest package 12 - 14 LPA avg package 4-6 LPA PLACEMENT RATE ; around 65 -70 % for cse and related branches , for non cse percentage is significantly lower since placement scene isnt very strong i plan to prepare for gate or gre , explore certifications in data science or ai or possibly apply for research based ms programs

My BTech experience at CMR Technical Campus 21-25 batch

Placement Experience:

Around 40% to 50% of students get placed in entire college. It is totally based on the skill of the student if students has very good skill training and placement officer also offers to apply for companies which only takes skilled students the college is totally computer science and only one section has ECE which is comparatively has less placements compared to other deparments since there is no computer science background this is the drawback for taking Electronics and Communication but if students are skilled in the Electronics backgroung Veda IIT which provides internship and job oppurtunities in VLSI and Embedded Systems but the student has to be a skilled person in the electronics subjects.

Despite securing a good rank in eamcet I couldn't make it to top colleges of city . Information for a student thinking to join mjcet
