- The best thing about GEU is definitely the teaching staff as all are well-versed in their field.
- Infrastructure is expanding and therefore we already have enough facilities and I hope it will only get better.
- Our course is one of the toughest but amazing one too as nobody gets the kind of learning we get.
Dislikes
- Our department still lacks facility at our campus and therefore for training we are sent to UIAT.
Course Curriculum Overview
Physics was my favourite subject and our course depends on that. So, unless and until you have interest and knowledge beforehand you shouldn't enroll for this course. Our course don't lack anything but gives you the right kind of mettle and sufficient projects as avaition demands practicals and our course have that a lot.
Internships Opportunities
HAL and DRDO are the two big names where 15 out of 30 students batch is being sent for intenrships. Projects are mostly of building the defense equipments as that is what we are taught in our course and stipend is not guaranteed but learning wise the best opportunity one can is what we have got.
Placement Experience
Only the defense companies I feel will be the one as our course revolves around that. So BEML, BEL, HAL, DRDO and all will be interested in inking us. Though no placements have been done so far but I am sure that we will crack placements in those companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
BSc Aeronautics is one hell of a course and perhaps GEU is the only university that offers it in my knowledge. Thus, I took this course as I wanted to do this and learn the drone building and defense system. Our course fees is therefore little high as it's a special course and so a special fees is what our university charges for it as it is 2.75 lakhs per year.
Campus Life
5 acres of main campus and then we have supportive campuses alongside as Nursing and Tech courses now have a mini campus close to the main campus. The entire clement town one day will look like every third building of Graphic Era University as the university is expanding at the rate of knots. Thus the main events and gatherings are still held at the main campus.
Admission
Admission process in engineering and management courses require entrance and for rest all there's 12th marks. Like for our course PCM with 60% or more sufficient and that's only because our batch size is small and there's hardly any competition as of now. Once that begins, it will be impossible for us to get admission on such scorecards.
Faculty
Faculties are those who have already taught in UAIT and even other space science colleges. Some are the ones who have build real projects for defense and many other government companies. So, when such experienced faculties teach you, you do get the required learning and information which is most crucial for our course.
Night Life
Our cafeteria of the campus closes soon and so are the libraries and sports field as no one is allowed in the campus past 7 pm. This I feel should change but nearby we have so many places to enjoy that after college we can do all that we want as everything is close to our campus.
