Likes

Placements are good as compared to other government colleges
Peer group is also very good you can find very skilled people around you
Big campus and greenry everywhere also various canteens and everything

Dislikes

Location of the campus is poor and no places to visit outside campus
Ratio of college is bery bad , 1:80 is the college ratio
No all teach companies allow core students for placement

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is good and syllabus is updated 2 years ago and that inline with industry standards also few new things like Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning all this technologies are also added as a minor degree for students.

Class Size: 84Course Fees: INR 1000000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are quite decent but most of the companies come to hire students from tech branches only Core and circuital branch students there is not good opportunities for internship which is a negative point

Placement Experience

Placements are quite good as compared to other government colleges all big MNC like google , microsoft hires on campus and also avg package pf clg is quite good , so overall placements are good even core branches also have avg package of 10 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of the college varries every year means it is around 2.5 lakhs per annum for btech program for a general candidate student , college do provide various kinds of scholarships to different category students too .

Campus Life

There are alot of fests in your our college Main fest is ENGIFEST with footfall in lakhs and it is one of the biggest cultural fest of North India Sports infrastructure is quite decent you have avail various indoor and outdoor sports facilities Yeah there are various clubs and societies in our college that are doing great job in their own niche/domain

Admission

I didn't applied for others colleges . I just filled JAC Delhi counselling and only filled DTU in that . Admission process is through JAC Delhi counselling and your JEE score is considered in that counselling.

Faculty

Faculty members are quite good , some are very old and experienced while some of them are not that much good . Infact few teachers don't even know what to explain so this is the bad point regarding faculty pf the college

Night Life

Yeah college has its own gym but it have fix timings like 6am-12pm , 4pm-8pm so this is a negative point We have alot of canteens in our college including doninos , bistro and many more Hostel timings is not a issue for boys but for girls curfew timing is 11 pm OAT(open air theatre) is one the late night hangout place and it's quite safe for both girls and boys

Shubham - DTU Honesty review after 4 year in college

Placement Experience:

Students who have completed there 4 sem are eligible to sit in campus placements to secure 2month summer internship and students who have completed there 6th sem are eligible to sit in campus placements to secure 6 month internship along with ppo or fulltime or direct fulltime opportunities. Around 70-80% students gets placed in tech branches and around 50-70% gets placed in core branches. My plan after degree are to join a fulltime offer.

The best college you can get into after IITs

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is decent enough. If you are from Tech and circutial branches you can expect package ranging around 12-30lpa, and other than this you can expect somewhere between 8-15lpa for other branches. Overall the placement is quite good.

Placement Experience:

From 3 year onwards on campus internship will start and I am in second year so I didn't know about how much package and placement ratio but like Average package for cse 23 lakhs per annum and highest is 82 lakhs per annum and one time highest package in cse is like 1 cr

Students of Fourth Year are eligible for the campus placements as of now I am in second year I don't have exposure to that knowledge. I will get the placement after getting degree if not than i will start my own startup and agency.

DTU reivew in breif

Placement Experience:

Placements were supposed to be very goood but last year it was average the average package is about 12 lpa and median is about 9lpa this is the reality.If you look at other website they will show the higher data but this is reality.You need atleat 8.5 cgpa as a secure benchmark to take part in placcement.About 70% of the student get placed

College time is good For students like I was travelling 30KM for my college my college start at 9:10 and ends at 4:20 in which 2 they give break Tea break and lunch break in which tea break is for 15 minutes a lunch break is for 30 minutes

My honest experience at a GGSIPU university

Placement Experience:

The fifth semester students become eligible for campus placements. The College organise placement, registration and shortlisting based on academic performance and semester marks. Many well-known companies visit the campus for hiring every year, including both mass recruitment and profile based offers students get opportunities in core companies as well as IT and consulting firms, the highest package offered in recent years has been competitive, and the average package is decent for most . A good percentage of students manage to secure placement through campus drives, but it also depends on students preparation and skill level students also get internships into placement offers. If a student does not get a campus placement, there are still good options for employability students to prepare for off campus placement, government exams or higher studies like Masters. Overall the placement environment is active and give students affair chance to start their careers.

I got this college according to my rank in JEE Mains exam. Admission process was nice as first i had got the NSUT DWARka with the same branch but after the second round of counselling i got admission in this College as I had put DTU above the NSUT in the preference list. Only JEE Mains is accepted for B.Tech courses in DTU. So talking about the admission process we have to first clear the JEE Mains examination and after that we have to do counselling through JAC Delhi in which we have to choose a preference and make a list of colleges with preferred branch and submit it in the JAC Portal and after several rounds of college allotment process whch takes 1 to 2 months we get the college according to out JEE Mains rank and preferene list than we have to go to the college aloted to use Physically for the document verification , one the verification is done our admission is confirmed in the college and we get admission letter and are able to attend the college from the starting of session....Read More
