- the overall campus of dtu is very good with very chill life with not much academics burden and there are many fest and many societies which gives us varios opportunity to explore new things. the faculty in dtu are very good with friendly nature .
- faculty are expert in their field and won very awards for their performance and research .there teaching method is quite easy to understand . the placement service is quite simple and many top companies visit campus like amazon, google, microsoft etc
- infrastructure are student friendly and various opportunites to learn . My course offer me help in field like web development , software development , software testers and many top software fields.
Dislikes
- I dislike the amount of fees that university are collecting is quite high despite of it is an government university , an average middle class person with two children cannot afford price of this .
- Also price for reappearing in back paper is quite high i.e rupees 7500 per subject that is quite high and it should be minimal
Course Curriculum Overview
i want to go in field of tech and computer so i opt software enginnering as my subject. curriculum make me ready for top tech giant like google and microsoft for in field of software development , web development. fequncy of exam is according to need of student and topics which help in understanding and level of exam is quite moderare which give some challenge to student
Internships Opportunities
internship opportunities start from 5th semester student get various chance in top companies which also offers great stipend with some stipend goes on lakhs there are various app building project on which student get opportunities to enroll.
Placement Experience
student become eigiible for placement in pre final year or in sixth semesters . Name of top companies visited in campus are google , microsoft , amazon, zomato, infosys. over 85 % student get selected in companies that visited campus. highest package offered is around 85 lpa with an average package of 20 lpa . around 85% student get placed in dtu on campus placement. i want to becom an software developer after my graduation is done.
Fees and Financial Aid
one year fees in dtu is around 2.5 lpa including tution fees . it remain around 2.5 lpa for all year . there are many scholarship which student can avail based on merit cum and need come , there are scholarship awarded by university and other program like bharti airtel scholarship, dell aspire scholarship, reliance foundation scholarship etc.
Campus Life
there are various top level fest that happen in dtu some of them are yuvaan fest, engifest, also there are also various college level event like diwali mela dtu arena . there are nearly over 1 lakhs book in library which can be accessed according to student need. classroom are fully furnished with a.c and projector with whiteboard also . campus provide various sports activities like footbaal , basketball, cricket , lawn tennis , badminton, chess, table tennis and open and close gym. student run social group are EHAX, AIML , UAS -DTU .
Admission
DTU is an renowned college wth chill life , beautiful campus and wonderful infrastructure . ihave also applied for nsut computer science branch but do not get selected due to outside delhi student and there is 85 percent homestate quota for college in delhi like dtu, nsut, iiit delhi. admission in dtu is done based on rank in jee main . it is done by jac delhi counselling , for delhi student cutoff is nearly 90 percentile but for outside delhi student cutoff is 98 percentile
Faculty
the faculty to student ratio in dtu is around 1:40.faculty are student friendly and are approachable for student. I like an physics professor who is very talented and work in top industry and are part of various high level project ,name of the faculty is R.K Sinha. there is no such faculty in my known whom i do not like. there are mid sem and endsem exam except there are some class test that happen according to need ogf topics . they are quite medium . there are decent amount of student who still fail in exam.
Night Life
favorite hangout place in dtu is oat and ground . there are various cafeteria library and open gym and close gym. hostel and campus timing is 11.00 pm famous hangout palce inside campus is oat, rajsoin hall, dosa plaza and palyground. outside campus spot are cafe dtu and nearby place . in night some place outside campus are not safe but that are far from campus and not near campus
