My experience about dtu

The curriculum is average according to 1st sem in ece 1st sem I got basic electrical electronics workshops applied mathematics applied chemistry and co programing all branches (from Computer Science to Civil) study the same first-year subjects, including Engineering Drawing, Physics, and Chemistry. Students often suggest introducing branch-specific core subjects earlier (in the 1st semester) to build interest and foundational skills sooner. Timing of exam in mid sem is 1.5hours and in end sem is 3 hours

So in the first year the fees is around ?2,47,700 something and it's taken as full 1 year ( 2semester) at a time in the starting of the year 1st Year (2025-26) ?1,63,000 ?84,700 = 247700 Unlike some central universities where tuition is fully waived, at DTU, these categories usually pay the full fee at the time of admission. However, they are eligible for nearly 100% reimbursement through various Delhi Government and Central scholarship portals (like Post Matric Scholarship).

Over all the campus is great and awesome so much things to fun and it's campus size is also larger around 165 acres and the lot of things are here OAT,amule lane ,raj soin hall,sports complex, library and it's Greenery etc There are so many societies

I choosed dtu its strong core branches and due to near in my home town i have applied nsut as well but i dint get the tech branches due to my rank Admission process is you have to score well enough in jee mains according to the home state and other state cutoffs then we have to fill jac delhi and according to our rank we got alloted in the branches we have filled as per rounds held

Faculties are good mostly in 1st sem I got the PhD and ms teachers they taught as well but the some electrical facilities are so strict i liked the priya sharma mam in appreciation of fiction her teaching is awesome Basically in 1st sem In ece there are 6 subjects 5 are main and one is additional you have to choose

The cafeterias are a lot like uddupi deltech amul lane raj soin hall the hims Nescafe etc and my favourite are the Nescafe and the hims I dindnt explored the hostels but I know about some of the hostels like for boys hostel there is aryabhatta , and others as well and for girls i know about virangana i guess it's the newly maded I didn't stays late night i am a day scholar student but late nights hangout place can be oat and the some cafeterias
