Placement Experience

Placement are quite good in DTU . In some previous year a branch like a core branch has recorded high placement of 109 LPA . That's quite good . My plan after this degree is to go in field of mechatronics engineering

Fees and Financial Aid

For the academic year 2025-2026, the first-year fee for the full-time B.Tech program at Delhi Technological University (DTU) is approximately ?2,47,700. The total fee for the four-year course is roughly ?11.1 Lakhs. There is no Management Quota at DTU; admissions are strictly merit-based via JEE Main.

Campus Life

YUVAAN , EngiFest are top fest ,. Even EngiFest comes in Asia's biggest college fest . There are many societies run by students like STEP DTU , Raftaar ,ASME , and many more related to different field and courses . Sports activities are there. Had a big sports ground having cricket, basketball, football , Kabbadi , indoor games grounds . Etc

Admission

I only applied for this college . It was great in core so perfect for me . Large campus size over any other college like nsut , IIIT delhi Admission process is through JAC delhi . JEE rank basis admissions are there only . No management quota

Faculty

Everything is nice in DTU , mostly professors are great and good relationship between student and professors . 2 exams are there in one semester , mid sem and end sem . Difficulty is moderate. Relevant courses are there .

Night Life

Two gyms are there in college one is outdoor ( accessible anytime ) second is indoor . Cafeterias like DTU cafe , amul , raj soin hall , kitkat , two to three more . Central library is quite big and 3-4 floors are there and personally it is bestest in this college and I like it alot It is quite .. Hostel are there for boys and girls both . Timing are usually 11 PM closing But delhi boy students usually not get hostels it is distance dependent from home to college. Night is safe in college

Shubham - DTU Honesty review after 4 year in college

Placement Experience:

Students who have completed there 4 sem are eligible to sit in campus placements to secure 2month summer internship and students who have completed there 6th sem are eligible to sit in campus placements to secure 6 month internship along with ppo or fulltime or direct fulltime opportunities. Around 70-80% students gets placed in tech branches and around 50-70% gets placed in core branches. My plan after degree are to join a fulltime offer.

The best college you can get into after IITs

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is decent enough. If you are from Tech and circutial branches you can expect package ranging around 12-30lpa, and other than this you can expect somewhere between 8-15lpa for other branches. Overall the placement is quite good.

Placement Experience:

From 3 year onwards on campus internship will start and I am in second year so I didn't know about how much package and placement ratio but like Average package for cse 23 lakhs per annum and highest is 82 lakhs per annum and one time highest package in cse is like 1 cr

Students of Fourth Year are eligible for the campus placements as of now I am in second year I don't have exposure to that knowledge. I will get the placement after getting degree if not than i will start my own startup and agency.

DTU reivew in breif

Placement Experience:

Placements were supposed to be very goood but last year it was average the average package is about 12 lpa and median is about 9lpa this is the reality.If you look at other website they will show the higher data but this is reality.You need atleat 8.5 cgpa as a secure benchmark to take part in placcement.About 70% of the student get placed

College time is good For students like I was travelling 30KM for my college my college start at 9:10 and ends at 4:20 in which 2 they give break Tea break and lunch break in which tea break is for 15 minutes a lunch break is for 30 minutes

My honest experience at a GGSIPU university

Placement Experience:

The fifth semester students become eligible for campus placements. The College organise placement, registration and shortlisting based on academic performance and semester marks. Many well-known companies visit the campus for hiring every year, including both mass recruitment and profile based offers students get opportunities in core companies as well as IT and consulting firms, the highest package offered in recent years has been competitive, and the average package is decent for most . A good percentage of students manage to secure placement through campus drives, but it also depends on students preparation and skill level students also get internships into placement offers. If a student does not get a campus placement, there are still good options for employability students to prepare for off campus placement, government exams or higher studies like Masters. Overall the placement environment is active and give students affair chance to start their careers.

I got nsut dtu and iiit delhi but I choose dtu because the attendance system is chill like you got time to explore as compared to nsut and the placement package is also good in this college for my college you need to clear jee mains with good percentile cutoff for computer science is like 12000 for Delhi region...Read More

I got this college according to my rank in JEE Mains exam. Admission process was nice as first i had got the NSUT DWARka with the same branch but after the second round of counselling i got admission in this College as I had put DTU above the NSUT in the preference list. Only JEE Mains is accepted for B.Tech courses in DTU. So talking about the admission process we have to first clear the JEE Mains examination and after that we have to do counselling through JAC Delhi in which we have to choose a preference and make a list of colleges with preferred branch and submit it in the JAC Portal and after several rounds of college allotment process whch takes 1 to 2 months we get the college according to out JEE Mains rank and preferene list than we have to go to the college aloted to use Physically for the document verification , one the verification is done our admission is confirmed in the college and we get admission letter and are able to attend the college from the starting of session....Read More
