Remarks

Our college environment is much better than other local college. Classes held on time. And the positive side of the college is there was two shift for program course students. 1. Morning Shift 2. Day Shift

Course Curriculum Overview

Exam structure was good. There was 6 semester in 3 year's 1 semester will held on 6 month from starting college.And the role was continued for three years. Exam will held on our nearby college's. course curriculum is also good.

Placement Experience

There was no placement or job opportunities. Our college is a government registered college but there was no job campaigns held for students. Actually I don't know our college provide or not any internship.

College Events

Freshers welcome ceremony. Saraswati Puja. 15th August Independence Day 26th January Republic Day Rabindra Jayanti 5the September Teacher's Day APJ Abdul Kalam's Birthday Department wise college tour.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When you apply your application forms there was a fee to be paid first then there was an admission fee then the next fee to paid called tuition fee and tuition fee will come every semester and every year a admission fee for all the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Oasis scholarship. Oasis scholarship is not so good. And there was not enough money given by the government. There was a little bit of money given. The Oasis scholarship is given once a year and the scholarship is for S.C./S.T./O.B.C.

Campus Life

Some of time our college organise some extracurricular activities with college students and our college staff. Our college had different types of lab for science students and for lab practical classes there was some special day. Our college sports level is also good.

Alumni/Alumna

There was no comments for the alumni network. And yes some of our senior students are really helpful. When I am going to take admission on this college I had a problem for documents verification. And in this time the senior student help me to resolve the issue.

Admission

I have applied online form first.Then merit list come out where my name was short listed.Then I go to college with all of my documents and after some documents verification & completing payment I got admit successfully.

Faculty

Raghunathpur college is a big and popular college in our area. I think the positive think in this college is - there was 2 shifts in this college. 1. Morning Shift 2. Day Shift Morning shift classes held on morning season and class starting time is 7 am. And morning season is only for program course Day shift is held on 10 am And day shift is for both of honours and program course students.

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. The hustles and joys of a college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because of the Media and the lab facility, and my desire to understand the entire course in journalism and mass communication. The course that I took gave a bit more theoretical aspects rather than the practical ones. The practical ones were a bit less compared to theory ones. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to encourage more assignments and provide more internship facilities to the students. The frequency of the exams for me was okay, and it was moderate, not difficult.

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
