The 2nd Best Polytechnic college in Purulia district

Positive: Nice infrastructure, experienced teachers, Good Quality Lab. Negative: The college didn't have any Canteen this is the major drawback of the college. I notices almost every student complains about hunger while middle in the class.

The course I have took here is Computer Science and Technology. I was very much passionate about computer ans technologies then I got opportunity to fulfill my dream. And the course is well organised.

The college didn't offer any internship but I have seen some big companies like L&T and Jindal and other companies comes every year with campusing. Last year my senior was placed in L&T with a 50000/month package. So its a very good opportunity for all the students.

The worst part of the college is that we ware not offered that much events than other college do. That's ok but we celebrate 1. 15th August 2. Republic Day 3. Vishwakarma Puja 4. Saraswati Puja 5. Fresher's welcome party

Since the college is being run by government we don't have to pay much but for exam fees which around 1200-1500 rupees every year. For other events money collected from students separately. That's the advantage of Government institute.

I didn't seen any scholarship offer by the college. Since ita a government institute most of the expenses carried by the government. Still you need for a loan facility then local banks might be helpful as they provide students loan for students for further studies.

I already told the Labs didn't lack any equipments. For Mechanical and Electrical students they all facilated good quality Labs. For sports we are not that much passionated about sports but few students are. That's why few cricket kit was offered by the institute.

Sorry! There are no hostel facilities around the college or any Private organisation. But few rooms available we call them mess. That will be easily available, but you may suffer from water problems for drinking and bath.

Our senior is very helpful to us they also provide us a notes on realted subjects and they are very respectful person and they were better connection between us and our senior.and great bonding between us.

After my 12th I was appeared for JEXPO entrance exam then besis of my score point or rank I got placed on this college. Basically one can appear for JEXPO after his/her 10th but I took this exam after 12th Science.

The best part of the college is we got best class Lab 1:1 computer available for the students. Teacher are also very co-operative and experienced. I am on my 4Th Semester till now I didn't face any ragging or other kind of misbehavious activities
