The Eligibility Criterion of Diploma in Mechanical is 35% in Secondary education & Eligibility Criterion for Lateral Entry in Diploma is 35% in Vocational or ITI or Higher Secondary Education. The Application starts at the start of May & Ends in September every year.
Course Curriculum Overview
My Brother is a B.Tech in Mechanical so, I Choose Mechanical Stream after I've Done my Vocational Course in Electrical Engineering. The Faculty-student ratio is pretty good & They conduct periodic Mentoring For us.
Internships Opportunities
This year Kingston Polytechnic College has given us an opportunity for a job training program in Dhoot transmission Pvt ltd. Situated in Aurangabad, Pune. More than 30 students of the second year Mechanical participated and drew a stipend of 8.5k per month as interns.
Placement Experience
As I am in the second year 3rd semester so I have not faced any campus placement yet. But I heard from senior students that they got lots of opportunities in campus drives like BYJUS, Hrid Motors, Rucha Engineers, Mando Automotive, DBSI, and JAYA HIND.
Fees and Financial Aid
I spend 104000 rupees per 2 years from Kingstone polytechnic college for my Diploma in engineering in Mechanical. The college provides scholarships such as the Swami Vivekananda students scholarship and the West Bengal state govt. students credit card.
Campus Life
Every year, the college organizes an annual fest named KINGSTOXICATION. It has been held every year in January. at a time we can avail 2 books and a reference book from the library. Every year Kingston Educational Institute organizes RUN FOR EDUCATION a marathon for poor children who are struggling for food and money.
Hostel Facilities
As I stay in the mess beside the college campus, so I can tell the mess facility is wonderful. The rent is 3-4k per month including food and accommodation. I came to know about the mess I stay in from a senior brother from the same college.
