RIT college review

Positive remarks- Both teaching and non teaching staffs are good at talking. Your dpoken english will become strong as almost everyone talk in english. Its has very good ac library. Negative- Infrastructure of the college is not so big. And worst thing is guards start shouting if you sit inside college after 7 pm.

As I am first year student , for the 1st semester there was totally 6 theory subjects and 3 practical. For the 2nd semester there is 7 theory subjects and 3 practical. In every semester there is 2 CIE exam and 1 SEE (Semester end exam).

Placements are pretty good at RIT. The placement is about 95%. Almost every student get job opportunities , only students of civil branch has to face difficulty as there is less campus selection for them. If I talk about internship, I have only heard that college provide it but as I am 1st year student I have not opt for it.

If I tell you honestly there are only two major events of my college RIT, that are 'Karnataka rajyotsava and Udbhav'. Karnataka rajyotsava is celebrated in the month of November, several activities are performed by students. Udbhav is held in month of March- April. There is DJ night, dance , singing, Ethnic day, etc. It's really a very fun in Udbhav.

Fee structure is neither feasible nor expensive. It's between them of nearly 2 lakhs per annum. For the first year there is some extra fee that has to be paid which may get upto 2.5 lakhs. This is not much expensive for this college.

Yes every year a scholarship is given to minority, obc, st ,sc students who have very good marks in 12th examination.There is a separate department for scholarship where you can query about different scholarship. I don't know about any loan facilities offered by my college.

There is a lot of extracurricular activities. In the very beginning of the college we get tired of doing them. My college is very strict about labs, they want 85% attendance in labs. Labs has good facilities. Faculties are very helping in labs. There are a lot of sports provided by college ex- Cricket, hockey, badminton, kabaddi, table tennis, basketball etc. There is also a gym in college.

There is separate hostel for freshers and seniors. Fee rate for freshers hostel is about 85000 per year and for senior hostel rate is nearly same. Freshers hostel have double sharing rooms while you may get single room in senior hostel. Facilities are 4 time food a day, drinking water, washing clothes.

Don't know much about alumni network but the seniors are very helping. They help in giving notes and clearing doubts. They never do ragging on junior students. There is some Instagram id run by them in which they also share there experience of job interviews.

After the 12th exam i applied online for the entrance exam called COMED-K in which exam was held totally online where I secured 10350 rank in result. There was offline counseling at Bangalore, according to the rank they called me and I choosed civil branch of RIT.

Faculty of RIT are very helping specially the mechanical branch faculties. They helps to clear doubt. Very strict about using smart gadgets in classroom. They easily cover the whole syllabus within the working days and gives time for revision.
