Course Curriculum Overview

5

As this course is very academically challenging, still choosing the course was a really difficult decision to make. But knowing the financial world in depth was really really interesting more than the difficulty level. The circularism gives you the real world of how the world actually works. What is the behind the scene of little detail, that you wouldn't even notice. The course can be improved by real world problem solving. You can't just think of it as a formula. You have to think of it as what would happen in real life. What is that you are learning you. It might be a little bit different from our 12th and 11th board. Because in this, you have to study the whole book in just about 3 to 4 months, it will hit you on first semester, but you will get over it.

Fees and Financial Aid

For a course like BA economics honours, the fee varies around 33,000 including registration fees. There is not a major category discrimination. The fee structure remains the same for Sc, st students, there may be some discount on registration forms. there are special scholarship of provided for student from SC and community.

Campus Life

5

There are some the clubs that are actually valuable to you that they will teach you new skills like one of the society, I am in is COC. It help me so much to learn about database and how to find sponsors. I would highly recommend to join some valuable societies or it is just not worth your time research before joining any society. The the society in general might be good, but the union can ruin it. You have to look both ways.

Admission

The very very important thing is different list. You cannot mess with your preference list. I didn't create my preference list as it should have. I missed out the opportunity to get into the good colleges of North campus. Although north campus has a reputation of all the good colleges, but comparatively why I didn't get into the top three was purely because I messed up my preference list. You should always make your preference list as what you want, irrespective of what your cuet score is. Put all the top colleges and preferred course on the top section and then put the second preferred course with the top colleges and then put your mid-level colleges with your most preferred course.

Faculty

5

Their exist faculty to student ratio of 60:1 the factory is mostly approachable, but if you're unlucky you will encounter some pretty rude professors. I have economics on his professor of Maths. Her name is Akansha. She is very easily approachable and very easy to talk to. Never take leadership excellence through gita as vac (value added course) the professor of this subject is so straight up rude . there are two semesters in first year this this year, the first semester is held on December. This course is very academically challenging student. Find it really difficult to understand the concept and connect with that in real life.

Night Life

5

There is many hangout spots around Drc. There is a gym and near North campus. There is Hudson Lane. It's full of cafes and aesthetic places. You should definitely visit during your stay. The pgs and hostel can get very expensive. Girls, PG and hostel mostly doesn't let students roam around after 10 and college can go on till five few days back. I went to this cafe called Echos. I loved the pizza and I would highly recommend you to try it.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
