Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is quite flexible in every department of bits & is very well structured. Courses are structured in such a manner to cope with the latest technology. Exam structure is also well designed.

Placement Experience

Bits pilani is well known for providing ample opportunities to students to get placed in top MNCs. Placement stats is quite good & every year students are placed with high packages. Bits pilani also provide internship to students through PS.

College Events

Many cultural as well as sports events are organised in college every year. Students from all over the country participate in these events. All the events are properly organised every year and are well known.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is expensive in bits. But being a private Institute having such high fees is justified. Also bits pilani provides scholarship to meritorious students. One can avail scholarship in college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Bits provide scholarship to bachelor students on the basis of their performances in semester. For higher degree students GATE scholarship is available. Also one can opt for Institute scholarship in higher divisions.

Labs are quite clean & equipped with modern instruments. All latest softwares and hardwares can be availaed at labs. Bits pilani also have well structured sports ground for almost every sport. Bits

Hostel are well furnished & clean. Proper cleaning of the hostel is done & water supply is also good. 24 hour electricity is provided with high speed LAN. Small shops called as Redy are available near each hostel where one can eat & purchase items.

Bits have very good alumni network & always ready to help in every instances. Seniors are friendly and always in helpful mode. Since decades bits has produced quality students who are holding higher posts in many departments in india.

Admission

Through BITS HD Entrance Exam every year students are admitted in higher divisions according to merit list. Apart from that Students are also admitted through GATE Score. BITS HD requires basic knowledge of Engineering subjects.

Faculty

Placement Experience:

Campus placement for M.Tech students usually begins in the 3rd semester, allowing students to build their technical knowledge and complete relevant projects. The TPC is active and brings in a mix of core and IT giants and research-driven organizations. QUALCOMM, TEXAS INSTRUMENTS, MICROCHIP, Marvel, Intel, SAMSUNG, and AMAZON regularly visit the campus. The highest package will be 30 LPA, mid and avg are approximately the same, about 24 LPA, approximately 80% students get placed through campus drives, while others pursue Ph.D and research projects. Personally, after completing my degree, I aim to expand my embedded system knowledge to work in the semiconductor industry, while also keeping the option of pursuing doctoral research abroad if the right opportunity arises

An honest review about Fees, Curriculum, Placements and More

Placement Experience:

There were total 11 students in my batch of M.tech AR-VR. From 3rd semter everyone becomes eleigible for the placements. Almost each of the companies related to IT/CS/AI were allowed us to sit for the placements. Almost each of the students who were looking for placements got the opportunity either through campus or non-campus drive. One student got the PhD opportunity. Rest 10 students got some opportunity in different companies on roles like Softawre Development Engineer, Data Scientist, AI Research Engineer, GenAI Engineer, Research Associate etc.

In final year of the course, students become eligible for campus placement. Different different streams have there different placement data that is available on college website. The placement percentage is around 80% -90%. Around 10 minimum companies visited in one branch ( EE, ME, CE, CS..). The highest package is in computer science department around 65lpa.

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges. The admission process of my college includes an eligibility test, BITSAT, the scores of which determine admission into thsi college. I had appeared for the test in PCB subjects instead of PCM. The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey.
