What Students Say

Likes

The infrastructure is very great and has many sports ground to play in.
The crowd is really good having good AIR in jee

Dislikes

In this year it has cancelled most of its fests
The administration is very poor and does not respond to students needs and problem
The placements are going down in past few years

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is overall well structured and is mostly relevant but lacks some of the things like modern day workshops and real world applications but it is improvind and DTU has taken many innitiatives recently.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 1100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

It is my first year in this university so I dont know about it's internship opportunities very well but my seniors say that it gives decent amount of internship opportunities and platform to grab good placement opportunities

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees for B.tech. in DTU is around 2.5 lacks per year and gradually increasing every year by 15000 or 17000.So the total fees that I have to pay is around 11 lacks excluding mess and hostel fees for 4 year.DTU has many scholarships its information is released at the beginning of every academic year.

Campus Life

My overall campus expirience is great it has great fests like Engifest,Yuvaan and aahvann etc.DTU has many societies in different areas like tech,non tech,cultural etc. Infrastructure is also very good and fun to roam around

Hostel Facilities

My hostel has every necessary facilities like water coolers for water,A common room which has a microwave,Fridge,TV. Every room has a personal bathroom and a personal kitchen, WIFI.DTU has a portal for hostel registration in which you have to register and apply for hostel to get it

Hostel Fee: INR 54000 per year

Admission

I applied in JAC but did not able to get a decent branch in good NIT's then I enrolled into jac delhi counselling because dtu ha s a great image in Delhi ncr and provide same opportunities as top nit's.

Faculty

We have a midsem exam,Endsem exams and a series of tests ,assignments ,practicals.Total marks in each subject is a total of 100.Faculty are mostly good and well educated but some of the professors are very hard to handle

Night Life

The main highlight of DTU might be its night life, all the students after eating there dinner in oat at night gather and have fun,roam around, play guitar, sing. Overall the atmosphere of DTU at night is very great and relaxing.

DTU CSE IS BEST

Placement Experience:

So students are even doing internships from 1st year too. So there is nothing like that you will get internship in 3rd year. If you have skills then you will get it. Major companies likes Google Microsoft Amazon etc are visiting this college for placements and internships. Around 86% students got placed this year. My plan is to get a tech job after getting degree.

DTU analysis in one year

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester we get eligible for the placements.i don't know about the placements senerios but I have heard that apple,google, microsoft,etc big MNCs come for taking interviews and give the offers.highest package and average package is about 97lpa and 15lpa respectively how much I have heard.about 50% gets placed according to my knowledge.my plans is to word as a techies after the college

A HONEST DETAILED REVIEW

Placement Experience:

For becoming eligible for campus placements, you need to pass atleast 6 semesters. After the sixth semester, the companies start coming to the college and recruit students. The internship opportunities though start from the 5th semester itself Top companies like google, microsoft, amazon etc visit the college and recruit students with a really top notch salaries. These big companies generally give 30lpa -50lpa salareis to the students , but you have to be very skilled . The students need to work hard to get these jobs the highest package offered this year was 85 lpa and lowest package was 4 lpa the percentage of studnets getting placed is quite amazing in thsi college. 75-80 % students get a placement with some really good paying jobs if any student does not apply for campus placement, or does not on campus placement, then the offcmapus base is also strong. there are alumni spread in different parts of the country and even world. Also the brand value of this college is so great that there would be no difficulty in getting placement

Placement Experience:

placements are not that good compared to what it used to be in last few years. companies such as google microsoft apple zomato etc come here to recruit students with good packages. highest this year was 81 lakh and avg was 16 lakh for IT and around 18lakh for SE.

From the 3rd year the students are become eligible for campus placement and showcase their skills to getting the placement. There are so many companies visiting the college every year apple, Microsoft, DRDO, swift, google, airforce, facebook, meta etc it is dependence on your skills and learning experience and college CG marks to get placement from oncampus company by giving interview and doing exam of specific company that you want to apply in which course you specialist. In my course it is newly launched course in which companies are offering highest package to students in previous years average package goes to 13 lac and highest package goes to 24 lac and this year average package goes to 14-15 lac and highest goes to 48 lac. In my course 60-80 % students are placing in compies all over the world.

For a good percentile in JEE Mains and for a delhi resident there are 3 to 4 colleges like DTU NSUT IIITD etc. so DTU is the oldest and DCE is a brand name so i chose it.
