Course Curriculum Overview

4

the core branches may be outdated but they prepare for the core placement very well, improvement can eb done by making the course more fday to day life applications and by giving real wordls education to the students, exams are held every 1.5 monthe or every 2 months per semester

Internships Opportunities

5

there are many internships oppurtunities in the campus. many tech and non tech comapnies are there for oppurtunities you can also go off camous for it. the average internships is of around 60-80k while the maximum reaching to 2 lacs. over 60 students got internship worth 1 lac last year

Placement Experience

5

The placement of my college is amazing, beating top NITs and 2nd gen IITs. Students are eligible for placement after the completion of their 6th semester. All the big companies visit my college and take good amount of students last yesar the no of offer were more than 2000 . Highest package usually goes above 1cr and average is around 16-19 lpa. almost 80-90% students get placed every year. amanzon google, atlassian ,flipkart, bain and comapny, bcg, delloite and many more big comaponies come for on campus placement

Fees and Financial Aid

first year- 2,47,700 second year- 2,67,700 third year - 2,87,700 fourth year - 3,07,700 scholarship is provided on the basis of income by dtu itslef , if you have family income of less then 4.5lac per annum you can get 50-100% full fee waiver, there is also scholarships for the sc st candidates

Campus Life

5

There are several fest going throughout the year. Firstly we have the freshers party (better than private colleges fest, then we have diwali mela in oct or nov , then we have yuvaan in jan or feb, then comes the mighty engifest in feb or march, invictus is also held before engifest, we have inter departmental sports fest, inter college sports fest, and many society participate in iit and nit. classrooms are fully air conditioned. there are many societies and clubs which have achieved so much in the ongoing world. recently the UAS dtu won the second prize at international meet winning a price worth of $150000.

Admission

DTU is highly reputed college in delhi, the second best after IITD in delhi itself, giving great oppurtunities in placement and having all the facilities , whether be sports, great fests, academics, trips, societies and many more. I didn't make y way into IIT but i had optoons for many NITs but i preferred DTU over them. THe admission ifd through jee mains exam you have to perform very good in jee mains just to get a seat in DTU. I just love this college for its campus and the crowd of good students it provide is just awesome.

Faculty

5

the faculty to student ratio vary on department, while the overall ratio is somewhere around 1:32. I like Dr. sameer jain of physics department, he is such a phenomenal teacher with a great experience and his way of teaching is very unique and good. there are two exams in one semester, 1 midsesm and 1 endsem , practicals are held a week before the endsem exams. the level of difficulty can vary subject to subject. the toughest one here is the electrical department, more than 30% student get back in first semester only for this subject

Night Life

5

The gym is there in the sports complex which is open during the morning and evening. sports facilities are genuinely great, with sports complex bigger than amny institues total size. There are more than 10 boys hostel , and there is almost negligible restrictions in it. the mess quality is also decent and students enjoy their hostel life to the best. during the night many studnets play badminton, and we have tv room in each hostel where you can watch tv play tt or exercise. there are many incampus hangout spots such as the OAT, raj soin hall, dosa plaza and many more. the campus is safe, excepts there can be monkeys all over the campus. girls are genuinely safe inside the campus , they can roam without worrying about their safety upto 11 pm at night, after that the girls hostel's gate are closed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
