Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

I have joined BTech CSE as I have interest in the designing and adding extra things and software props in online games and also interested and dreamed to work for Indian army as an ethical hacker but as of now I think my dream will be a dream for forever as there is no advance and new course and skill development technologies included and provide to us in our college. Teachers just use ppt and notes those are uploaded on the ERP from earlier semester if the technology is changing every year then why our courses and study material remains the same every sem they are increasing fees 5000 - 10000 as name of skills development and PDP etc . But nothing changes We have to do all preparations for the exam by own teachers just came in class and open ppt and read it aloud no explanation about the technology use software used just ppt.

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Also there is also other discount for home state students and hill states students.

Festla the annual fest for each department is celebrated in campus and also engineer's day is also held on the engineering day in August or September. Well about the library a variety of books are available for study and also they issue books for a limited time. Classroom includes a projector for screen sharing and topic discussion using ppt . Some sports and curricular activities are organised during the fest and any other event . Yes many students do lifestyle vlogging of their daily college schedule and events .

I have applied also for Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran and mohali , Chandigarh University and Quantum University Haridwar I have got a confirm addmission in chandigarh group of colleges mohali but I haven't got admission there as it was far away from my home. Also I got registered in Quantum University by submitting 10000 registration fees but later on I have changed my college to Uttaranchal University anyhow even I don't know why even I was selected and fulfilled the criteria for all other applied colleges. Admission process is quite simple you have to come and need some documents like 10 th board marksheet and 12th marksheet and adhaar card or any proof of residence state and identity and fill a form and submit 10000 as registration and there you go you got admission in UTTARANCHAL University

All faculty is very bad as they don't support students in any case and also sometimes they just cut the marks unnecessarily in final exams as students need to pay extra 2000 rs for copy rechecking as many of students just getting back with only one mark also they don't show your final exam copy. Collecting extra fine on the basis of attendance in mid term examination also between semester as said min 75 attendance is mandatory.

There is no test and any kind of group discussion or interview for the admission. There is no criteria for admission but only you have to pass in board examinations. You have given some basic documents like board marksheet of 10th and 12th and submit a registration fees of Rs 10000 then directly you got the admission successfully in Uttaranchal University. No need to prepare for the admission as direct admission available.

Yes there is gym inside the college building but is comparatively small in comparison to the no. of students getting the membership. College timming is from 09:30am to 04:30 pm from Monday to Friday there is Saturday and Sunday holiday. Rishikesh , Dhanolti, Haridwar and Mussoorie etc are some places to visit on weekends and also in night dehradun is also good to roam and explore the streets and paltan market , click tower .
