life in campus is very much fun. i have met students from many state in online
campus is very good and beautiful. buildinga are modern and very clean
mostly teachers are very helpful and knw their subject very well

engagement with student is not much which i would like to get improve

Course Curriculum Overview

this gives us the flexibility to choose minor subjects or electives outside our main department. this university uses a modern system where every subject has course outcomes. we take non credit courses in soft skills personality development and ethics. they don't affect our studies much but are very helpful.

Class Size: 53Course Fees: INR 16000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

the semester wise fees which i have paid is 8000 so for yearly it is 16000 i'm a online student doing distance learning program from uttaranchal university which is best in dehradun. i don't know about others because i'm a online student.

Campus Life

the university is famous for its massive celebration. the two main events are yuva fest which is annual cultural festival. another one is technical fests which is for engineering students. athletic meet which is a big sports festival is held in february or november where all departments complete against each other

Admission

choosing the right college is a big decision. here is how i ended up at uttaranchal university. first i searched in youtube about distance learning and best university for distance learning. then i got to know about collegedunia. after that i contacted faculty of collegedunia they told us about uttaranchal university would be best option for us as per our requirement.

Faculty

the ratio is around 1 teacher for every 50-60 students in common classes. mostly teacgers are very friendlly and treat students like mentors or guide. dr.rajesh bahuguna in law college. students love him. one final semester exam which is hard. the curriculum is highly relevant. they update the subjests eery year to include new things.

Night Life

studing at uttaranchal university in dehradun is a mix of strict discipline and beautiful mountains vibe. the central library not just for studying! its the best place to relax in the ac during hot afternoons. the cafeteria and food court are heart of the campus. prem nagar market is closest local market. since we are in hills maggie points are must. paltan bazaar.

Placement Experience:

Placement for some course like btech , bba etc placement are quietly good but for other it's not as some get and some doesn't for our course which I m pursuing there is no placements at all which is disappointed after completing during 3 yet student are eligible for the placement lowest package is 3.5Lpa to 7 lpa and highest in 15 lpa to 20 lpa just my plans after the degree is to get a job for my financial needs and for experience also and with that study for ma english .

Remarks:

When It comes to talking about the entire college I would say that The language department is the most active here. Also Placement drives are only held in the department of languages and not in any other departments which is quite unfair according to me. Management here is good.

I went for this college mainly because it is just little far from my home which is better because it near my house in just kilometres only that's why I go for this college and admission process for this college as they give scholarship of girls 5%. Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

I have applied also for Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran and mohali , Chandigarh University and Quantum University Haridwar I have got a confirm addmission in chandigarh group of colleges mohali but I haven't got admission there as it was far away from my home. Also I got registered in Quantum University by submitting 10000 registration fees but later on I have changed my college to Uttaranchal University anyhow even I don't know why even I was selected and fulfilled the criteria for all other applied colleges. Admission process is quite simple you have to come and need some documents like 10 th board marksheet and 12th marksheet and adhaar card or any proof of residence state and identity and fill a form and submit 10000 as registration and there you go you got admission in UTTARANCHAL University...Read More
