Course Curriculum Overview

Well first of all because it's integrated course. There is lack of digital technology in the campus . The exams are suddenly announced with just week of time. So that things need to be improved alot because it's lead to pressure.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fee is 18000 Along with this you need to pay exam fee for per semester. There is no scholarship scheme from the University. But you can apply on the NPS portal and avail them. Fee is same for everyone there is no discount.

Campus Life

Yes there are cultural fest and annual sports events, social week is there. Books are available in the library but most are of old times so need to include new books and concepts. There is clubs like magzine club , sports club , astronomy club .

Admission

Because it's a central university and also in barak valley region it is the only university with this much of facilities. I didn't get rejected because I only applied here and I got selected so yes my luck was good. CUET you have to clear to get admission

Faculty

In my department there is 14 teachers for 40 students . So yes there is shortage of students and in BSW the students are 60 . I liked Mr. MRITYUNJAY SINGH AND Dr. Albin Joseph. They provided meaningful guidance and other were also good.

Night Life

Night life not that great Within 1 km you can get some fast food but in limited options and hostels are open till 10pm . Scube is the one point where you get a lot of crowd because of momos and other fast food.

The college provides placement in different NGOs and companies like flipkart, amazon, hotels, NGOs, banks, hospital etc. The placements are given after the 5th semester. They provide us a wide opportunity to show our skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As my brother has also done msw before and now he is working in a ngo he influenced me to pursue this course as I was arts student ,as a social work student we are well prepared for real world experience cause we have field work to do every week I think the areas for improvement in the courses are decreasing theory and increasing practice and field work,we have 3 exam throughout the semester and exam are very difficult

Moderate student life in the AUS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to become a professional social worker and also to become a graduate. Very nice faculty members 15 faculty were there that time in 2020. 20:2 was the student and teacher ratio approximately. It is semester-type exam every 6 months. And the difficulty of the exam is moderate.

Firstly to the one who's reading it, let me tell you one thing. If you're very much motivated enough about any subject you want to choose then definitely go for it. In my honest review, Social Work never came to my mind at first thought. It took me a lot of research and time. Let me give you a brief of what exactly is Social Work. Most of you would say that it's about helping people, and a lot of other stuff. But readers, I must tell you one thing, Social Work isn't just limited to the idea of helping people, it is also about making people capable enough to help themselves. And for that work, you need a whole different level of motivation. The best part about this course (BSW), it gives you both practical and theoretical-based forms of learning, so obviously, you can imagine that you don't have to sit and attend classes till 5 in the evening. Fieldwork is the core subject here, and with that, you would get other important papers like Public Health, Criminology, and Community Organisation.

I want to apply to RTU ( RABINDRANATH TAGORE UNIVERSITY). But due to insufficient funds couldn't take addmission. My seniors are there and told me it is good university and genuine when i heard about thier marks it is very appreciable.
