GEU is best for Aeronautics studies!

The main reason of me choosing this course is perhaps my interest in aviation. Flying objects have always enticed me and the one for which I have fell like nine pins. So, it is more or less the feature of the innings and a half that I have taken this course. I am almost done with my 3rd semester and I am very much satisfied with our course.

Overall university placements records are amazing but for our course no placements have been done as no batch has cleared the course. In 2027, we would be the first batch and I am quite positive that we will have atleast 5-6 LPA packages.

GEU Dehradun is the only university which offers BSc Aeronautics. The fees for our course is close to 3 lakhs a year but students with over 80% gets a 10% scholarship. Also, the students with over 90% gets 20% scholarship. Along with all these there are many other scholarships in places e students can learn about them during the counselling which happens before admission.

Our annual fest is held in March every year and for once it was in September as well. Our course is amazing and our infrastructure is amazing as area wise we are still little compact but once the shifting and all of some department is done, I don't think that complain too will exist. Our parking area is huge which is just 50m from the university main entrance.

Our hostels are grand and are amazing too. Nearly 1500 or so girls stay in our hostel which has 2 seater and 3 seater rooms. Registration for the same are done during admissions and i would recommend girls coming from other state to stay atleast for a year at the Marina Girls hostel of Graphic Era University.

Eligibility is through University entrance exam but since our course was new and the batch too wasn't full we got direct admission based on our 12th score. I am quite happy to see that our course was amazing and probably the best in class and since admission were easy, I took admission here without much of a fuss.

In our college faculties of most streams are PhD holders. I have seen many and can say all of them are just good enough to take care of students by giving them the best education. There are plenty to be saying good about but the one i feel is the best is for sure Professor Arjun Nautiyal as he is from Uttarakhand and has done wonders in this field.

Our university facilities closed at 7 pm and that is the time we need to be back at hostels too. So, in evening a walk to Buddha Temple or running in the Clement Town area is a good thing as that is how we spend our time at the university after hours.
