Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum gets updated after 2-3 years by GTU. There is no role of our college in it but our college tries different ways to take internal exam like online and offline . But the curriculum is purely designed by GTU and it's quite good on some points but it also contains very small amount of old fashioned subjects
Placement Experience
The procedure is simple. You should have 7-7.5+ Cgpa In case of CE,ds and it branch:- The companies like simform , 7span , bacancy, tatvasoft ,argusoft come to get students in field of web dev ( most prominently ) , java , .net, c sharp, data engg. , data analysis... The placements are good compared to college if you skilled enough to get placed
Fees and Financial Aid
The semester fees were increased from 1650 and 850 in alternative sem to 1650 in both the semesters and there are some other fees like prc fees of 850. The gtu exam fees of 850 to 1500 rupees (it depends on branch). Overall the fees are almost 4-5k per year and if you are in hostel , it's 1500 per sem
Campus Life
It sucks in this field Very less Social aspects There are clubs that organise wonderful events but there are very less engaging Infrastructure has improved exponential in these 3 years it is very well maintained But in terms of clubs and social events , it is very poor
Admission
The Admission procedure was purely through acpc on basis of marks in GUJCET AND JEE. AND the reason I chose this college is that I wanted to get into data science field . I had option to go DDU in ece branch for free using tfws but I chose this over that due to my intrest.
Faculty
In case of CE , IT and DS , the professors are very less and they have so much load due to less faculty. In other branches there are enough faculty to supervise them. The professors try their best and solve doubts and open to meet them personally after college hours for any queries
Interview Experience
Yes of course the topics in aptitude, gf and hr interview are all from India bix in most of them but the student must have good communication in english and enough skills to clear technical round if he/she is from Computer related branch
Night Life
Very Great There are hostels and pg guys that meet in rajwadi chai center near college and sit whole night talking and doing random things There are some pool places and turf to play together and at the time of dinner whole pg and hostel friends dinner together It is safest for girls ( no risks) hostel in timings for girls is 8 pm but in most of the pgs there is no limit
