GEU is solid!!

Aeronautics is what excited me and since girls participation is also less so I decided to study this. It's an amazing course and I am happy that I am doing this. Areas of change in my eyes would be that we just have classes for 3 days in a week and it can be extended to atleast 4 days if not more and that will do a world of good for us.

No placements of our batch so far as not a single batch has been passed out yet. So, for our batch I don't know but overall our university has placements record of over 60% and in a crowd of over 10k students having such a placement ratio is exceptional.

At Graphic Era University there are plenty of courses and fees of each of them is quite high. For our Aeronautics course the fees is 2.75 lakhs per year and can be paid in a maximum of two parts. If somebody pays in one part, he/she gets 10% scholarship then and there itself.

Our university is not a single campus as there are multiple campuses close to each other. Like for parking there's a whole new area. Hostels are off campus but within range and then inside we have beautiful buildings and also some of the best flora and fauna. Every festival, events and an annual cultural fest named Grafest is also hosted by our university.

I stay at the Marina Hostel of the university which is the largest girls hostel of Dehradun. Around 8-9 floor building with 30-40 rooms on each floor. The hostel ka combined for GEU and GEHU students. There are two mess inside the hostel buildings and 8 pm is our curfew time.

UAIT was my first option but then it's already an established institute and therefore I chose GEU as they have introduced this course lately. It's great that we have such course which is beyond best as they have come with all the loopholes being taken off and offering us the best. Admission are direct as one can come to the university and directly apply.

For Aeronautics top aeronautical engineers are the ones who takes the lectures at GEU. It is impossible without them as all of them have researched in Aeronautics and also they help us do the same. It's a lovely core group of 12-15 professors against 30 students in each class. Profesor Narendra Menon is my favourite of them all.

Our area was initially an outskirt of Dehradun but now is one of the best in town. We have petrol pump, cafes and what not nearby. Also a 24*7 shop is there in our campus area. Even though roads aren't that great but places of entertainment are plenty.
