The infrastructure is satisfactory with spacious classroom well equipped labs a library Wi-Fi and separate hostels for boys and girls. I choose haldi Institute of Technology because my average WBJEE rank did not allow admission to government colleges or top institute like IIT is or NITS. Among the private colleges I applied to searches Heritage Institute of Technology and techno India, HIT stood out for its affordable fees, good infrastructure, hostel faculties, supportive faculty, disciplined environment and strong placement opportunities. The admission process are simple transparent and best interly on WBJEE counselling overall, HIT offer the best balance of academic campus life and career prospect making it the most suitable choice for my rank and goals.
Faculty
The information technology department at Haldia Institute of Technology is led by Dr Soman Pal under dean doctor subhankar Joardar, with qualified and supportive faculty members. The b.tech it course is a four years 8 semester program with around 163 credits covering programming networking and emerging Technologies. Exams follow a continuous a solution system mid sem 15 marks assignments and quizzes attendant and end semester. Lives are assessed separately. HIT follows the mackout autonomous system with a credit based CGPA method. The syllabus is updated regularly balancing theory and practical learning for strong industry relevance.
Night Life
The nightlife around Haldia Institute of Technology is fairly limited as Haldia is a smaller industrial Town rather than a major City.
