Course Curriculum Overview

5

Clear semester wise plans with course in programming systems, algorithms, databases and AIML plus tied labs and early elections were major resources to prefer There is flexibility to select programs and open electives, enabling personalised depth in emerging area The institute encourages up to semester long industry or research internships and offers multiple internship avenues formalized via policy and rubrics The UG manual allows overloads for fast track progression and recognise reading courses and exchange pathways, helping advanced learners, accelerate or customise their learning Attendance is mandated at 75% and courses follow continuous evaluation with quizzes, assignments, labs, semi exam, examination, and semester examination specified in each course outline and governed by the UG rules Make up exam provisions and transparent component weightage is reduce one short risk though missing internals can still impact grade significantly

Internships Opportunities

5

My college provides a robust internship opportunities. Top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Samsung, Adobe regularly hire students for software development engineer, intern roles. The stipends are excellent typically ranging from ?50,000 to over one lakh rupees per month. As for projects and intern might be task with developing a new backend feature. For example, creating a recommendation API using python and AWS. The outcome would be fully functional, tested and deployed micro service integrated into the company's main application.

Placement Experience

4

Placements at MIT are excellent and begin in the seventh semester. Our college attracts top tier companies and for the 2024 graduating batch. Major recruiters included Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Adobe, and Samsung. The placement statistics are very strong with the highest package being 52.28 lakhs per annum, the average package Being 14.5 lakhs per annum with over 95 percentage of students participating in the placement process My personal plan after getting my degree to join a leading tech firm as a software development engineer, I want to gain a few years of industry experience to apply the practical skills. I've learnt that before deciding on further specialisation or higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying around 3 lakhs as my semester fees which is inclusive of hostel and mess the tution fees is around 2 lakhs 71 thousand the fees for all the branches is around same plus there is 10 percent increment in sem fees after every semester

Campus Life

5

Campus life at Lnmiit is vibrant and engaging, offering a great balance between academics and extra curriculars Our main technical cultural festival VIVACITY held around January February. We also have a major technical fest known as PLINTH around the same time along with intra college sports fest, DESPORTIVOS The infrastructure is modern and supports our academic needs well Library, it's well talked with a vast collection of academic books and we have a digital assess to numerous journals through platforms like ACM digital library. All lecture halls are air condition and equipped with projectors and audiovisual aids, making learning interactive. Also, there are numerous student clubs covering everything from coding Finance and robotics to art, music and sports. These clubs are the heart of student life, organising events, and workshops, year-round that helps us grow and connect with peers.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facilities at LNMIIT are excellent and an integral part of the student experience. Staying in the hostel is mandatory for almost everyone. Room facilities: the rooms are well maintained, clean and come equipped with bed, study table, chair, and cupboard for each student, a major plus that every student gets a dedicated high speed land port for internet access. Mess quality: we have several mess halls, and the food is hygienic with a decent variety. There are four meals a day served and the menu is rotated, weekly offering a mix of cuisines. The registration is hasslefree as it is done along with the college admission process. Considering the quality of rooms, food and other amenities, the hostel is quite affordable. It's a much better and more convenient option than finding a PG in the city.

Admission

Besides LNMIIT My list of colleges included several national Institute of technologies like those in Jaipur, MNIT and some of the new Indian Institute of information technologies as well, I received confirmed admission from a few of those but ultimately choose Lnm for multiple reasons that are Strong coding culture and the focus on computer science and related fields. Many of the other colleges I was considering had more traditional and rigid curriculum, whereas the syllabus at LNMIIT is very current covering advanced topics like AI machine, learning and data science right from the UG level I did face a rejection from one of the top tier NIT I had applied to the cut-off for the premier LNMIIT and IIIT went incredibly high. However, this experience taught me to look beyond just the brand name and evaluate colleges based on what they actually offer in terms of my chosen field, which is exactly what lead to me to choose LNMIIT

Faculty

3

Day-to-day classes are handled by well qualified research oriented faculty with the institute reporting a student full-time teacher ratio around 19 is 21 and 20 2021 and an ongoing plan to move towards 15 is to 1, which matches the on ground fear of good access during office hours Mandatory disclosures and strategic plans indicate permanent faculty student ratio Regular use of LMS platform such as model and et cetera, together with faculty living on campus, makes it simple to reach instructor, instructors for clarifications, project guidance, or remedial sessions outside the lecture hours Best classroom experiences typically from senior CSE and some maths instructors whose courses emphasise regression problem set and project driven evaluation which aligns with the programs, of IIT Kanpur ECE teaching quality is more mixed with very research, strong faculty, but variable lecturing clarity. Even after attending the lectures. Students have to sometimes rely on tutorials and peer notes from external sources .

Night Life

5

Hostel and campus timings: the main gate has a deadline, but once you are inside movement is quite free. The boys hostel has a flexible in time while the girls hostel has a deadline of around 11 PM, which can be extended with prior permission. Facilities: the library usually closes around 9 PM, but reading rooms are often open later during exams. The gym also has got fixed hours. Additionally, for late night cravings, some canteen is and food. Stay open till midnight, which are our go to spots The hangout sports include (SAC) student activity centre The area around the food court and the sports grounds. It's common to see groups of friends just chatting working on projects or grabbing late night Snacks at night canteen which is always buzzing with energy. Popular spots in Jaipur like Raja Park or Jawahar Circle, great for food and hanging out, but these are planned trips and not spontaneous late night activities.

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the year 2014 & 2015, there was a huge scope for people in Computer Science Engineering. There were unlimted number of possibilities for a B.tech graduate at that time. This is why, I chose B.tech Computer Science course. The curriculum will help you to deal with the exams. If you are giving graduate level exams, you will be well guided for it by the faculty. There are no smart classes or good practicals examiner which we call lab technicians which causes everyone a havoc in the labs area. The midterms are the first monthly based exams that you'll need to give in order to pass your academics. After that, Practicals and then written exams.

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.
