Remarks

The bad things are it college has not all subjects but it is also a very good degree college for arts and commerce subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

My education system is 1+1+1 system so my college takes a total of 3 exams in a year for each subject. The first exam is pre-test then test than the final exam it conducts by Calcutta University.

Placement Experience

3.5

Our college is not engineering and another management college so we don't any college campusing but our college gives us spoken English and computer basic certificate also and if we want for any other courses then if we conduct to college then they take all things.

College Events

4

Our college has no more college event celebrates but celebrate Vidyasagar's birthday Rabindranath Tagore's birthday. On Fraser's welcome and one social program. In the social program, we can perform anything.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college is not a proper government college then our college fees are higher. When I take admission o this college then I pay Rs. 2270 only. And I pay per month Rs. 85 only and for the exam from fill up paid Rs. 400 only. And other payment for blood donation camp 50 rs. For Saraswati puja 100 rs.

Campus Life

3.5

My campus is beautiful because besides my college campus has filed ground for cropping. Near my campus has a river. In this campus, I play with my friends and also a time pass. Some students also busy with their new and old lovers. But we spend more time in play. The gender ratio in my college is 45% of boys and the other is girls. Our college has an NSS unit, music club, sports room, geography lab free WiFi.

Alumni/Alumna

I think our college ex-students also helpful for our college because I think they are established in their own life. If they come and stand with our college then we archive more goals.

Admission

By fill-up the admission and by through higher secondary marks. At first, I went thair web site then I full fill all required things and upload documents then one-day merit list then I go to this college and my all documents full checked and then I gave the admission fees then taken admission.

Faculty

3.5

Our college has two playgrounds. It also a ragging free area. Our college's senior student is also helpful and our educational staff also helpful. Our college has more than 27000 books for students. Our has two common room one for boys other once for girls. Our college has more than 30 classrooms.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.
