Management , Co-ordination and the support of the faculty we find
The intake of the college is in huge number yet the placements are good
services Provided and cleanliness is more appreciating and the Security is gr8 provided

Dislikes

The public in the college is more and huge so there is little crowd on the passage
The parking is huge but yet made complex and some angry security
Gandharva Fest is awesome but the managements lack's in little

excellent that's the sandwich pattern and being the autnomous institute the level of sllabus is up to mark and sufficent making the future learing easy and understandable The Course are designed in such a way that they are useful for the student not only in their academics but in theri real world experience too

The Placement Cell For the College is noice every single student is given the chance to stand out as single entity for the placement thing i mean every student is given fair chance for the same and they are treated equally

I m DSY so I Paid in Second Year :- 29216 rupess and in Third Year i paid 28072 rupess my admission is in NT-3 category The tution Fees for cast is zero but the developement and other fees are charged The Fees for First Year SC category is Rs. 5945 only

Campus Life

There are many clubs in this clg like NSS , I2IC , GDG , GFG , GED IT , ITSF , XRGF etc each club has their own unique takeways and learning the social fest and events are arranged so vast and likely gr8 I my self i m the Join Department Head

Admission

I choose this clg coz it ranks 3 in pune and has good placement ratio also comparing other clg the campus and the environment here is so engaging and the student and staff is so co operating helping all the way out

Faculty

The Marking scheme is of 100 and 150 marks divided as 40 makrs written exam 60 marks practical exam 20 marks Project 10 marks Home assignment and 20 marks for SCE evluation (class Test ) and in case of 100 makrs it's 60 - 40 pattern Faculty to student ration can be said Excellent as every class has class techer and subject teacher unique

Night Life

The Best part is having Tea with our friends sitting at cantine outside and watching everyone Go , we have a katta to sit where we chill and have fun ,, yes we have a gymkhana where we all play games like ludo , chess table tennis and carrom which build us logically and for outdoor sports we do have a large ground we play sports like Kabaddi and Cricket there The Nightlife of the Clg is safe and we have fun specially in Fests and events

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. Each year, over 90% of CSE/IT/ENTC students get placed. Branch-specific placements may vary: CSE usually sees 95–98% placements, ENTC around 85–90%, and other branches slightly lower. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

Placement Experience:

our college has motorsports clubs so if you are in those clubs you will get very high reputation while the placements. one concern you have to consider is that the will have total 3 campus for the placement drives so the crowd is very high.

Placement Experience:

From semester 6 students can sit for internship drives in college. Companies like BMC, Rapid7, TCS, Capgemini, Accenture ,Barclays visit our college, mostly the hire for SDE role and give traning to selected students. Highest package is 61 LPA and average is 7-8 LPA. Percentage of students getting placed vary each year. I am planning to sit for placement.

From seventh semester ,students are eligible for placements. Companies like tcs, infosys, cappgemini, accenture are common for hiring. Almost 60 percent strudents get placed. My plans after degree is placement plus MS/MTech if a good gate score.

Reality of VIT, Pune

I had applied for COEP technological University, PCCOE Pimpri, and VJTI. I got confirmed addmissions in PCCOE for mechanical course , COEP for metallurgy and VJTI for textile industry. At the last, I took addmission in VIT mechanical. VIT, Pune has good nirf rankings and rather than opting for branches like metallurgy and textile industry I choose mechanical. And between pccoe and vit I choose Vit. Vit accepts admission through cet and jee mains. Also dor dsy students it accpets through cet exam. Cutoff changes every year has been increasing as number of participants has increased. Overall, after the allotment of the college it took 3 hours to take addmission. It could be less if you have alll required documents and fees has been already paid using mean like dd....Read More

Honest Review on VIT, Pune

Except for VIT, Pune, I had applied to colleges like PCCOE, PICT and etc colleges located in Pune itself. My JEE rank was around 77000 or 91.12 percentile and my CET percentile was 96.4, so I couldnt get into PICT. Even if i wanetd to get into PICT, i was getting the EnTC branch, which i didnt want. The admission process included firstly of CAP round followed by SPOT round. The cutoff for various branches depends on the CET and JEE Merit rank/percentile that you have got and on the basis of that youll get the branches in CAP or SPOT round....Read More
