Course Curriculum Overview

5

Mathematics branch syllabus is one of the thing which has drived me to this college. Yes, the curriculum is well designed, and each year student get new upgraded syllabus things. The frequency is twice per semester is ample amount of time.

Internships Opportunities

4

Many companies come in general, the stipend varies highly based on the roles, 15K to 20K is minimum to going to maximum to 40K-50K, Jonh Deere, Accenture, TES Energies, L & T, ONGC, B.I.S., etc. In last sem people either go for internship or does the research project under the professor. Internship opportunities are good enough, as per my spectrum of the college, I haven't heard much about from other colleges.

Placement Experience

4

The student get eligible from pre-final year, internship compnay start coming to campus. In last year, the placement are held. You name it deloittle, Future First, Tata Ninja, TCS, Accenture, Amazon, AB InBev. ICICI Bank, Physics Wallah, BYJU'S, FIITJEE, Aarti Industries, L & T, P.P. Savani University, John Deere, AMD, Meesho, Razorpay, etc. The companies are coming for Software development, Data Analyst/Business Analyst Role, Research Analyst, Educators, Development related companies, Core based companies, etc. In our branch the people who sit and get placement is 33 percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

34250 + 38250 = 72500 rs per year (In current year fees has been increased for below batch) 125000 yearly for BTech Students Many scholarships are available, people may go through the website it covers SC, ST based scholarship, Female Student Scholarship, 1st Year student based, INSPIRE for student based on 12th marks

Campus Life

4

Sparsh a cultural fest is grand, MindBend a techno-managerial fest, Gujarat's biggest before even end sem exam. You will observe those in march/april. yes, library is sufficient, also for the reseacher, the good amount of journal are subscribed. Talking regarding classroom, the benches with the black board, projector in all of the classroom are there, also the smart board are there for the mechanical department, ECE, and some of the other department. Yes sports are good, people went to badminton court, TT Court, Good ground is there, the maintainance is bit of issue. Chintan Pratishthan which works for holistic deveopment of student, NSS, NCC, CHRD: A club for music, drama, design, dance, mental health, IIW, Literary Affair Committee, other than this election based many post are there.

Admission

The course I was getting that drove me to this college. This syllabus is best. Alreaddy told that I was getting LDCE and Nirma University with ECE branch, but I took drop that year. It was drop year and I was applying for DAIICT, but due to JEE rank i couldn't get that branch. I was getting the ECE in this collge, but planned for drop. Yes, this college stands strong based on previous understanding before coming to this college. Apply for JEE Exam, clear the exam with good score, I mean a good rank will ensure for all the branch. Now apply using JoSAA portal, then you will get the branch as per that year competition. Percentile 89 is good for cutoff. Admission experience was smoth, go to college, they will call you with the document procedure that included the 10th, 12th marksheet, EWS certificate in my case, Annual Income, The Payment Receipt, Aadhaar Card.

Faculty

4

Highly good, for our department it is good 25:1 I think so. All the faculties are highly skilled, all are approachable that is great advantage. First Student will face MidSem Exam then after End Sem Exam are there, every subject has it's individual attendance, quiz as well, also the tutorial/assignment things. It happens many times student fails, so supplymentary exam option is there with good gap, so people may study in those duration to rectify the mistake.

Night Life

5

Student can walk around the campus till 10 pm, and girls are restricted till that. The boys can rome in campus all around the clock(other than first year). Also club like DHRISTI has whole round clock, so student engages in activity all around the clock. All the student after their class which primarily get over by 6 pm, then they rome outside campus near lake view garden just beside campus, also the MAIN GATE of svnit, the tea stalls and people like to sit on the footpath, yes footpath, discussing campus, svnit, and life as well with friends, also maximum students are in club, so the time is not there to engage in anymore roming in my case. I am full packed every year with each day with some task of club.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for BSc BIOTECHNOLOGY because of my interest. The field of Biotechnology was blooming. Faculty are good in number. One faculty for each subject. Wide ranges of subject are included in curriculum. BSc is in three subjects - BIOTECHNOLOGY, ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE and HEALTH-HYGIENE. Teachers are generally freshers but they stay atleast for a year. Few teachers also have a doctoral degree and are expertise in their field. Timely assignments and seminars are conducted. 30% is internal marks. Semester internal as well as external exams are conducted. Exams are moderate. It covers esay to difficult questions. If well prepared, you can pass easily.
